I recently visited this Mexican restaurant and left with mixed impressions. The wait time for my order was surprisingly long, even for simple items like a taco or a bowl of pozole, which set the tone for the meal. When my burrito arrived, it was wrapped tightly in foil as if it were a to-go order, even though I was dining in. I ended up unwrapping and plating it myself, which took away from the experience I was hoping for when choosing to sit down and enjoy a meal.

The chips were fresh and tasty, but the salsa was extremely watery and didn’t quite complement them the way I expected. I also tried the “everything” burrito, which is priced at $15 but felt undersized compared to similar options at other restaurants in the area.

The service is limited here. I am not sure if this is by design…but the wait staff does not return frequently after ordering. You will find yourself trying to grab someone for things like napkins, silverware and refills.

Overall, the food itself wasn’t bad, but nothing really stood out as a must-try. With a few improvements in service, presentation, portion size, and consistency, this spot could offer a much more satisfying dining experience.

Second time coming here had the menudo first and thought it was great, came back and got red pozole and tacos also great, the tamales not much flavor and very wet. service was good just dont sit in the back booth next to the restroom.

All of the workers here are so nice and attentive. We were sat right away and didn’t wait long for our food. The food was good. Horchata and cafe de olla was delicious.

I thoroughly enjoyed the red pozole! This restaurant is clean and inviting. I recommend to call in an order for take out because the wait time for an order is a minimum of 10 minutes.

Would recommend this place to others, thankful for the variety of foods they have. The decorations were very nice, giving it a home type feeling. Would definitely recommend the green chicken tamale if you were looking for something yummy. It small but tasty. Very thankful to also find a place that has champurado 🙂

Did not even want to stay to eat before I left!! Listen to the other reviews claiming that the owner and staff are rude, unhelpful, and disrespectful.

We tried to order food and asked what kind of meat they have, but the waitress just kept saying “it’s menudo meat, the standard one” but didn’t know. The kind of meat you use by menudo varies a lot, so it doesn’t really help. A simple “we’re not sure, we just order it with a preset variety” would’ve been fine.

Instead, the owner comes over, and she starts by asking “do you know what menudo is?” when we try asking.

Instead of listening, she starts arguing. Ridiculous and so sad how much attitude everyone on staff has, and how rude the owner is.

Green Posole is good. That’s my typical order. Today I tried the Christmas burrito with chicken and it was ground chicken. It was bad. Nowhere on the menu does it say “ground chicken”. I’m guessing that’s what the protein was because I couldn’t find any pieces big enough to take a photo. I’ll go back for the green posole, it’s the best in the area, but I’d never recommend a burrito from here.

My Wife and I came here for the first time today. We ordered the pozole, green chile and cheese tamale, the sweet corn tamale, the birria tacos and chips and salsa. We absolutely 100% LOVED EVERYTHING. Not one bad dish. We will be coming here quite often

I remember coming to this place when they first opened.
Then again last night for the first time since then.
What an evolution!
I got the sopes asada and my best friend’s both got the posole. It was so good and so filling.
The staff was really nice I can’t wait to come back.
