Haven’t been here in several years. Everything had been remodel and menu updated. Employee was very helpful, atmosphere pleasant and very clean. No waiting. I had a #11 with waffle fries and cheese sauce. I was very impressed with everything. Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures today.

My favorite sandwich place in the QC. The only downside is the lack of customization. It’s getting better with online ordering, though. Their chili is great. Their bread stays soft in the fridge and their ingredients are always fresh. Their cheese fries are fantastic. The last time we ordered it was < 30 minutes from order to being ready.

It was worth driving to Hungry Hobo from Chicago with my friends. I was recommended by one of friend and I really enjoyed the sub & fries. It was worth every single penny. I would visit again in future.

My son ordered me lunch from the hungry hobo in Moline and had it delivered. First off the drink was completely wrong. I am diabetic and ordered an unsweetened tea. Got a pink lemonade. The sandwich was all bread. Only 2 slices of meat. Ordered everything on sandwich got no onions or banana peppers. I have now become a Jersey Mike fan! Their sandwiched are piled so high I can barely take a bite! Will not order from this location again. I have posted a photo of the receipt and photo of what they call a sandwich. I wish I had a picture of the sandwich from Jersey Mike’s from 2 weeks ago. It was amazing!

I have been eating the Number 11 King with Everything + Onions and Peppers since the Little King in Rock Island became the original Hungry Hobo. On Monday, August 11, 2025, I was served the most perfect sandwich it has ever been my privilege to devour. It’s awful the staff had to be told at least 3 times my order and they still managed to mess it up . I asked for peppers – there were zero on my sandwich. Asked for NO onions , and I got onion . How hard is it to make a sandwich right or follow instructions? My food was almost falling thru a wet, ripped bag . Nor was my sandwich properly wrapped.

It’s been a while since I have been to a Hungry Hobo. I was never impressed before, but the sandwich I had today was excellent! The price was right too! It’s hard to get a decent meal for two people for $20 anywhere but that was exactly what I spent. I’ll be back!
