As you can see I ordered the veggie plate which came with 4 sides! I added a little hot sauce to the greens but based on how everything else tasted I probably didn’t need it!
I would have taken a couple more pics but as you can see the food looked delicious smelled even better and I was starving so you’re lucky you got these pics!
The food which was outstanding was ready in no time and since they ran out of cabbage they comped me an extra side of black eye peas which I love and an extra muffin!
The texture of the muffin was perfect! Not hard at all!! Reminded me of home and I’m from north kackolacki!
They had 2 powerful signs on the wall that I took a picture of as well!
This is Black Bizness done right!! I will definitely be back and I’m here visiting from Tampa!

They were out of the desserts I wanted to try so I got the pound cake. It was just ok. I also tried the seafood combo with fish and shrimp, good flavor but the fish had a lot of bones, more than I’m use to so be careful and eat the fish with caution. I did order whiting but somehow got a piece of catfish in which I don’t eat. They were out the sides I wanted to try so I had to opt for the collard greens and Mac n cheese instead both were good and I was super grateful they gave me a corner piece. The service was great cooked to order so I was grateful for that. Will support again and try the stuff I originally wanted. One thing they can improve on is offering sauce or condiments with the seafood at least some tarter sauce or hot sauce packets.

The food was okay! The wings were really good but small. The mac and cheese was a little burnt and stuck together. Cabbage great ! Customer service needs some help. Very dismissive when wrong. Will stick to what I know. Not worth coming back.

I knew it was going to be good when I could smell the food getting out of my car! My husband enjoyed the catfish nuggets, my daughter had the curry chicken, which looked absolutely amazing and I had the meatloaf, collard greens and mashed potatoes. you get a lot of food for the money, but my only issue was how salty the meatloaf was other than that it was a really really good lunch.

The flavor was awful. I got oxtail over mashed potatoes. Very salty dish. I should’ve gotten rice. I did add hot sauce but you can literally see all the oil. The muffin was good. I paid $18 and couldn’t finish eating this. I’m going to McDonald’s.

The shrimps were fried hard and full of flavor, fried chicken could have been fried harder, catfish didn’t have flavor nor did the fries or hush puppies, or grits , waiting for my husband try his food so I will be back! I did support but I want be returning unfortunately ❤️

Hmmm. Catfish is ok. Tooo much grease… see the bottom of container?… should have been drained and cooked a little longer. Cabbage was bland and potato salad had a weird taste. Lemon pepper wings were ok. Gizzards were salty to hubby, but I thought they were the best out all the meals lol. I’ll try them again but choose something different.

First time here was really looking to get good Curry chicken and collard greens and I can’t lie it really let me down.. the chicken was fatty and it seemed just Play too much curry powder.. the collard greens had no flavor at all.. I must say it disappointed my experience and I will never go back. I would not recommend for good soul food!!

The cashier displayed great customer service skills. She was very helpful and polite. I got the oxtail. It treated really good. After being spoiled from Jamaican restaurant on 103rd, I anticipated more rice in my plate and at least 6 pieces (only got 4…if 5 then it was really tiny) of oxtail for the large since the pieces were not big. The Mac and cornbread was delicious! I’m not a fan of the potato salad. I’ll visit again.
