Overall Rating and is it worth a visit: 9/10 and Yes. Ended up being a lunch stop for my 36th birthday this year, and it didn’t disappoint. A top 3 BBQ spot in Colorado, that is 100% worth the visit and has delivered every time I’ve gone. As Mike, Juan, & Esteban learned the Texas BBQ ways from their previous restaurant owner/boss Karl Fallenius, who learned from his Pit Master boss before him, the Legendary Aaron Franklin, Pit Fiend delivers for anyone looking for a Central Texas BBQ experience while visiting Colorado or Denver. Simultaneously nailing the classics/staples like the brisket, sausages, and mac & cheese, while also rocking one of the more experimental and unique BBQ menus out there, you’re sure to find something you like. Offering great daily specials with some seriously creative options, while also delivering tasty vegan choices such as jackfruit and mushrooms for your meat-averse friends, Pit Fiend has something for everyone in the group. Would recommend and will be back again. Full review at The House of Salt & Smoke

A cross between dungeons and dragons with bbq. The service here is top notch, and very knowledgeable about their bbq. We got the brisket, chicken, mushroom, baked potato with pork belly, corn bread with jalapeno and plain and the cucumber salad.
The brisket is tasty and cooked very well. Their rub is unique, coffee and brown sugar gave the meat something different. The pork belly was very tasty and had fall apart texture. The chicken was a bit spicy, with a slightly tough texture. The mushrooms had a similar taste to the chicken but the texture was a mix between pulled pork and over cooked mushrooms.
The cucumber salad was cucumber soaked in sour sauce, but it’s so tiny. The bagged potato was cooked to perfection and the butter made it a work of art. The jalapeno cornbread was a more savory option with cheese. The plain, with a little honey was a very good traditional cornbread.

Some of the best BBQ I have ever had across all of the US. Friendly staff. Amazing pork belly and brisket. Great homemade fresh sauce. They do BBQ right putting the time. Highly recommend!

I am a true fiend for this place. The atmosphere is unique and fully embraced, the food is LIGHTS OUT. I now come weekly and every time I am met with smiling faces and tons of juicy, tender, delicious meats. This place is wonderful for catering, lunch, dinner, anytime you are hungry, really. Highly recommend the lamb (all meats really), jalapeño cornbread, gold dragon burger (special)

5* for the brisket and cornbread! Brisket definitely shone.
Service was great & friendly! They took the time to help us figure out how much and what to order for a group of 6. The pulled pork and pork tenderloin standard compared to most BBQ joints.

Got the meal with 1/4lb of meat a side and a drink with chips.
The pulled pork was so juicy and had a nice smoke to it, I could eat it without any bbq sauce which is my selling point, the bbq sauce is pretty good even though I had to pay $1 for it smh!
The Pitt beans are good but not outstanding, the max n cheese is also flavorful but has a BIG kick to it.
Try the purple lemonade next time if you have the chance, so good.

Solid BBQ. Had the two meat special. Better than Post Oak and Mission BBQ regarding meats, sides, and sauces. Post Oak has better smoked turkey tacos, baked potato and beer. Overall solid experience and will try again.

The barbecue was outstanding. My husband and I had the pulled pork and it was delicious! We loved the variety of sauces and the pork was tender and delicious! The Mac and cheese was great too!!! We only had one regret – we didn’t try the brisket. When we saw it, we wished we had. The gentleman eating it said it was some of the best he ever had. Maybe next time. I highly recommend this place!

We stopped next door to Pit Fiends for a beer (at Our Mutual Friends brewing) during our trip to Denver and the BQ looked and smelled so good that we came back the next day to try it! We were not disappointed.
We got the brisket (lean) which simply melts in your mouth and we also got the pulled pork which was delicious and moist without being saturated in sauce. The sides were also delicious, the mac and cheese being the clear winner for us though the slaw was pretty good and the corn muffin was excellent! The brewery next door lets you bring the food over so we sat on their patio and had a few beers with our BBQ. All around phenomenal experience and I can’t recommend it more!

This was some excellent BBQ. The smells, the flavors, the location. Sit down and grab a beer from Our Mutual Friend, grab a table on the patio and order some Brisket Nachos. Go soon though because they were just on the special menu. Along with this sweet blueberry rice pudding I think it was. Christ that was delicious.
