I called to ask about the ice cream cakes currently available, and the employee went to the cooler to check and gave me a very detailed response. I just needed a small birthday cake—nothing fancy—and it was in stock and ready. I picked it up 15 minutes later, and it was perfect: ‘Happy Birthday’ with balloons on it. My husband was surprised and loved it!

I’ve visited this particular DQ many times. It’s never great, but today was particularly filthy (trash on the ground, food debris lining the wall all around, tables were filthy and not a single employee cleaning them after customers).
After ordering, I went to wash my hands and the men’s bathroom was bone dry on soap. It was not low and sputtering remnants, but literally nothing was left. I brought this to the attention of the employees, noting that there were multiple males working, including the cook. This means that they either work an entire shift without using the restroom once, or they don’t wash their hands in the bathroom after using it… you guess which… One male employee gave me a look like “you got me” after bringing this up. After that, I really paid attention and not only is the restaurant not being ran well, but it’s only a matter of time before people get sick. The ice cream machine is having issues and spitting ice cream everywhere, employees have their headphones in and were obviously bickering with each other, some appeared to have friends showing up to hang out in the outside dining area while not taking orders.
I won’t be bringing my family here again; it’s not worth the risk. When the owner is away, the mice will play… without decent management, that is.

Whatever changes they’ve made here in the staff it really shows. The burger look and quality of care is completely gone. There’s trash and food just left out everywhere that’s not being cleaned up for awhile after customers have left. Food and liquid stuff on the floor. I wish it were back like it was a year ago when I came here.

Fast food is fast food, but compared to other Dairy Queen locations (Leesville and Lake Charles), this one isn’t bad. Tucked away and easy to miss if you arent looking for it. Old location. Prices are like you’d get anywhere (i.e. approx. $7+ for a combo meal). Menu items consist of: burgers, chicken strips, steak fingers, onion rings, fries, cheese curds, ice cream, cakes, etc. There is generally a line for drive-thru, but the wait isn’t usually long. Staff is okay- no greeting, but quick service. My experience was “That’ll be $9.87” and then given the food with no other interactions. The parking lot is known for bad holes, but those have been recently fixed.

Food ready.. no marks on food to know what sandwich was whos.. had to ask ketchup ask for napkins.
Bathroom dirty.very dirty..
I stopped for ice cream before never had food..

I used the drive through this time. I love this DQ. It’s small town size, big on friendliness. This day I needed a Blizzard, butterfinger flavor. DQ never let’s me down. If you’re in need of good food and hometown love, go here and you’ll do just fine.

Ordered ahead in the app and waited 30 minutes in the drive thru before we got our food, which was mostly cold. Our blizzards did not come out with our food, we had to remind the workers that we ordered them and they came out about 5 minutes later and melted. We had to ask for the dipping sauces we ordered and they gave us tartar sauce instead of ranch. We also ordered a 4 piece tender and a 6 piece tender but got two 4 pieces instead. Very disappointed.

I have been to lots of DQ’s…first time to order a banana split that looked like a pile of MESS! To look like this for that kind of price…no thank you!
