The restaurant looks like it has nice indoor and outdoor seating. I came in for carry out and was disappointed when we got home.
The ‘queso’ is basically salsa with some nacho cheese. It only came in the one size for almost $9.
The chips were stale and lacked flavor. The rice and meal also lacked some flavor. The only thing we ordered that was good was their house veggie tacos.

Great outdoor dinning. Mario was a delight. He treated us well and we will be back for more. My brother suggested this site because it reminded him of my mom’s cooking.

Ordered the nachos. I think they were called old school nachos. Extremely disappointed with the plate since Sliced cheese was melted over chips. Shredded cheese could’ve been used. Someone else in the group ordered the nacho grande plate and that had shredded cheese. Using sliced cheese for nachos is my reason for the 1 star review.

Margaritas+botanas+outdoor seating=great time. The food here is always good and the service is wonderful. Just found out that it’s a family-run restaurant and one waitress has been with them for 35 years. That says a lot!! Be sure to try the chilaquiles.

If you go, don’t get the appetizer combo. This was $11? I don’t know if something was forgotten but this was disappointing. The chatitos were good but the “nachos” were 4 soft chips with just American cheese melted on it? (I got peppers on the side.) And a couple dabs of guacamole? I was hoping for a better sample of items for our first visit. The rest of the food we got was just ok. My enchilada and tamale were good. Just not worth the price we paid.

We will have to try restaurant again – the restaurant apologized for our first experience – which was poor… but at least they owned up to it and were honest when speaking on my original review. My best friend is a big fan of the tacos – I will have to return and review again.

We had great drinks and food once we got someone to take our order. It all came up quickly, fresh, hot and tasty. But finding a waitstaff to bring us our bill or anything else proved difficult. They did, very quickly, clean the bathroom after I pointed out that a dirty diaper was left laying out.

Been here multiple times for large gatherings (15+ people) and small one-on-one dinners, and the restaurant is always very clean, service is great (friendly and prompt) and the food is great! I had the enchiladas, my brother had the carne asada tacos – both dishes were excellent! I’ve heard their margaritas are good, too! Enjoy!
