Several times I have glanced at this restaurant, but never thought to eat there. I was next door today with my mother and finally we had decided to try the food. Upon walking inside, the beauty of the restaurant and its decorations caught our eye. We were greeted with a smile from the sushi master as well as the gentleman at the front counter. We were told to take our seats wherever we pleased, and we could not decide what to get from the menu because everything looked so good. We decided on getting the pineapple fried rice, green curry with chicken which came with a side of white rice, the lino crunch roll and the negihama maki. All of that food was delicious and plenty to split with my mother. Their water was splendid. Thee silverware, the glasses, and the whole restaurant all together was spotless. I will definitely be returning and it is very close to home, about a 16 minute drive, which is worth it. The prices are reasonable and the portions are good. The service is very fast and the staff is very friendly, between the three staff members that we had saw, all three of them had very nice smiles and they were consistently checking on their guests to make sure the food was good, to refill waters when needed and even waves goodbye from these amazing people. I would highly recommend this place.

Ambiance:
The ambience is very unique. The Sakura tree is stunning and completes the vibe of the space inside. Seats and booth are very clean and well organized. You don’t have to squeeze through people and tables to get to where you need to go. Very great spot if you want to chat as the music is barely noticeable.
Service:
Staff is amazing, welcoming, and helpful. We got our orders taken quite quickly and our waters refilled. Service was excellent.
Food Quality:
Thai Food: Excellent. If you want your food to have some spicy kick or extreme heat, let them know. The masaman curry was excellent. It may look small but it fills you up quickly with the side of rice. The amount of protein is more than enough to satisfy your cravings. The curry was smooth, tasteful and delicious from every bite. The potato and carrots were buttery and the chicken pieces were just the right size and amount.
The Pad See Eiw was well made but on the drier side. Noodles were chuckle yet nearly oozed in your mouth from chewing. I would recommend this dish for anyone that’s a Pad See Eiw fanatic! It’s a very generous dish that will fill you up. It wasn’t too saucy yet balanced very well with it being just a bit dry. Either way, will be getting it again but with a kick of spice.
The eggroll was delicious and well friend and unique to the other egg rolls we had. The filling was very well balanced with the ground pork and noodles and other ingredients that kept you wanting more egg rolls. The chicken skewers were well marinated and super delicious. It wasn’t too crunchy and it was also easy to chew and enjoy!
Overall Experience:
This is a Thai restaurant we would recommend. If you’re coming here for your typical orange/sesame chicken or some Chinese dish, you are completely missing out on the authentic Thai dishes. Ask the employees for recommendations and try it out. The Thai food here is legitimately well made and is on par with other Thai restaurants in the cities. Would highly recommend coming here if you’re hungry after driving or coming back from Taylor’s Falls.

Best Thai place in the area hands down! I looove the pad thai. It is so good. The orange chicken is also amazing and the sesame chicken. The sushi is pretty good as well but you can only get it on the weekends. Great service, low prices, clean and cute atmosphere. 10/10 highly recommend!

Absolutely Fantastic! We stop in anytime we are in the area and everything is always 5 stars! The service is friendly and atmosphere is cozy. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu but the egg rolls are a family favorite in our house! You will not find better food or service than the Chili Thai!

Food is good. A little pricey then other places that serve same food. Portions don’t seem to be fully put into the containers, like the fried rice wasn’t full and the noodles were loosely put in to take up more room.
Egg rolls don’t have a lot of filling in them but the sauce is good.
Fried rice was a little bland, not much flavor but cooked well. Cheese wonton were decently filled and the noodles had good taste and cooked nicely. Not soggy tasting or overcooked.
I recommend a try as a nice treat.

Had the pad thai, orange chicken and green tea with milk. Everything was delicious and I ate way more than I should have. The staff was extremely attentive. The atmosphere is quiet and serene. Quite a gem of a place.

Later edit: The restaurant, very concerned about our 2 star rating and review, contacted us to offer a replacement meal. We ordered the same items (for comparison) and they were better, so we appreciated that. May try them again. Upping rating from 2 stars to 3 for the immediate response, but reserving a couple of stars until it seems quality is consistently good.
Carry out order tonight of sesame chicken. Veggie egg rolls were the only good item.The chicken was extremely dry and tough, hard to chew. The last time I ordered this same dish, just a few weeks ago, it was fine. Husband found his Pad See-Eiw way too salty. Very disappointing…we thought we had finally found good Asian food nearby. And it wasn’t cheap! Back to square one 🙁

I’m from the Twin Cities and I needed something healthy while I’m the road out of town. This place really hit the spot. I got their egg drop and it was egg drop, not with all the veggies. So tasty. The rolls were delicious (I forget the name, but I had the one with salmon and lemon on the outside and tuna and cucumber inside), the sake was plentiful. Would totally visit again if in the area. Staff was very pleasant and helpful with my toddler as well.
