This place used to be my favorite restaurant to go in Pennsylvania. Ever since the new management the food is not nearly what it used to be. I ordered a New England style ham and cheese with a dozen of hot honey wings, what I would always get and it was so much different. I’m not going to go into great detail and I really don’t like leaving bad reviews, this is not to tear anyone down. I really hope you guys see this and make changes for the better. I am so very disappointed, I loved this place, now I might never order there again. I hope that George’s is restored and if it is I will change my review.

Exactly what I had expected from this place. Great atmosphere, classic interior is a plus. Many old photos are a nice touch as well. Pizza was good, can’t complain about that. Staff was kind and helpful and this place was clean overall. Recommend to give it a try!

Nice place to sit and watch the world go by. Staff was o.k. Very cool photos from the past. Pizza sauce didn’t have any seasoning, seemed like it was straight tomato paste(?) and the crust was alittle doughy. I liked the cherry Pepsi the best.

I wanted to thank the staff for being so hospitable when we brought my daughter and her friends in for pizza to celebrate her birthday. They put up with some loud little girls, and were so kind in cutting the slices smaller, and telling us to stop cleaning up before we left.

Honest review this place is back to original quality
Food quality is good just like I remember when I was younger. We stopped going years ago because it seemed like the ingredients were different. Stopped in tonight food was spot on new England ham and cheese exactly like when I was a kid
Cheese burger sub maybe a little better quality beef than before but the smell and taste exactly the same would recommend checking it out

11/14 New England sub cold cut: they OVER saturated with the dill relish/hot peppers where you cannot enjoy the meat. Why wouldn’t an establishment NOT sell chips with a sandwich?? The answer I received was, we haven’t yet gotten to incorporating chips on the menu; however, ALL that time it took to renovate, redo the menu, but you didn’t have time???
Service: I felt RUSHED to order when I didn’t have a chance to look at the menu to try something I never had. And upon leaving, there’s was no thank you, have a good rest of your day or comeback.The cashier and the individual who was training just gave me strange stares.

Grabbed a classic Italian with spicy pepper relish and it’s the best sub I’ve had in ages. The homemade bread was the perfect texture and the meats and cheeses are great quality! This sub was made with love!

Today was our first visit since new owners took over. We had a new england style sub, cheeseburger sub and a pan pizza. Everything was delicious. We will be back. Staff was great and very helpful to the customers.

I like the new Georges. They are just as good as the old Georges. Very impressed with the new people, some of the food was different but tasty. And I liked the layout.
