This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we found that the food and service exceeded our expectations. While the portion sizes were not overly large, all of the ingredients were fresh and tasty. We had the forbidden rice bowl with shrimp ($18.70), the Brussel sprouts & kale ($10.45), the chilled sesame noodles ($5.75), and the avocado hummus ($8.25). Drinks were $3.99 each. While we ate in, it appears that the restaurant does a very busy take-out business.

This place is such a gem! The outdoor patio is super cute with its bright green and yellow chairs, and the flower boxes add a nice touch while you’re chilling with a view of the trees and parked cars. Inside, it’s got this fun, laid-back vibe—there’s a colorful mural that says “Live More, Worry Less,” and the yellow chevron wall is totally Instagram-worthy. The menu’s packed with fresh, healthy stuff like salads, bowls, and wraps—I’m obsessed with the Glow Bowl and Avocado Caesar Salad! They’ve also got small plates and entrees for everyone, plus a chocolate chip cookie for dessert that’s calling my name. The staff are so nice, and the whole spot feels modern but cozy with the exposed ducts and natural light. It’s the kind of place you’d hit up for a quick, feel-good bite with friends. It’s also made me want to hang my arts here as an artist. Love it!

This was my first time ordering a catered lunch from Flower Child. Have done it from many other places but this was hands-down the best. First, Suresha helped me figure out what would be best for our needs. And then magic, she recommended vegan and vegetarian bowls that could then be topped with animal proteins for those who wanted that. Brilliant. So much easier than setting aside wraps to make sure everyone gets what they want. And the food was excellent and warm, even after at 30 min commute. Amazing! Highly recommend.

When I walked in Suresha promptly assisted me in placing my order, answered all my questions about the menu and was very knowledgeable and helped make great recommendations for a vegetarian option for me. While I was waiting for my food Marcus checked in with me and ensured I was having a great experience and we chatted about the beautiful decor in the restaurant ! Eliana swiftly brought me my food and assisted in making sure everything on my order was correct . Was an amazing experience, kind staff , great food and good vibes getting to watch the open kitchen & cooks prepare your food from scratch!

We loved visiting Flower Child for a quick, casual, and kid-friendly lunch while visiting family in the Bethesda area! The staff was very patient and friendly in helping us decide what to order because everything looked delicious! We really enjoyed the Mother Earth bowl and the butternut squash/chickpea soup special. Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again on our next visit in town.
