Apple’s Bar & Grill has been a local staple for 35 years. Stepping inside Apple’s feels like a museum. Our walls are adorned with our rich history in the ski and snowboard community of Sun Valley. Ski town culture is the epitome of who we are. We regularly host events for our local Ski Teams; have viewing parties of our hometown heroes participating in events such as the Winter Olympics; host local street parties; and so much more. Apple’s is nested a the base of Warm Springs and offers both inside and outdoor options. We are open for lunch and dinner this summer! Hours are posted below or on our website. We will also be offering happy hour from 3pm to 5pm if you’re looking for a lighter meal after a hike or mountain bike ride.

The weather was warm on the early September evening I visited here.
I was welcomed to the bar with a smile and a friendly wave.
The kitchen was clean and the sound system played relaxing music with good sound fidelity.
The other patrons were lively and contented, happily conversing and enjoying the patio seating.
A memorable meal, pleasant, tasty and welcoming environment at the end of Warm Springs Road just West of the Ski Lifts.

Lady at counter was so rude. I had ordered a burger 6 months ago and It was hands down the best burger I’ve ever had. It wasn’t on the menu anymore but they were happy to make it. So when I drove 40 miles happily to eat and the lady was rude. Looked annoyed I was ordering, cut me off when I was explaining previous burger and pointed to menu and said thats it. So I ordered the blue burger. I asked for my burger to be cooked all the way( no pink) and for the bacon to be crispy. Burger was near rare and bacon barely cooked. I just left. I didn’t want to deal with the Lady again. So disappointed. Especially when it was a 22$ burger!

This has become one of my favorite spots in the greater Sun Valley area! The food is some of the best I have had in the area and priced relatively similar.
It is also nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of downtown and see a different side of Ketchum. The patio is fantastic for romantic dinners or business meetings during the summer! Will definitely keep this place in the lineup!

Apples is what a ski town bar and restaurant should be. It has a ski and racing motif. The outdoor deck is a nice space on a sunny day. Good drinks and I hear good food. I have tried the food myself. After the world cup races, it was the place to be.

We arrived on Friday October 24th at 11:49am and it was closed. Google hours state it opens at 11:30.
Please update your Google hours so people dont waste their time driving all the way out to your restaurant and you aren’t even open.

Go where the locals go and escape the high-priced resort restaurants and bars. Apple’s doesn’t serve hard liquor but plenty of Fun and Sun Valley culture. Definitely get you some tater tot nachos or I think they call them Tachos? Plenty of great art in the men’s bathroom that I’m sure would get banned if I posted. So you’ll just have to see for yourself.
