Hi… the cashier was professional, the packaging was good.
I tried to order the Jerk Roll, Philly roll and Italian Beef roll. The Italian Beef was not available.
Being a new customer I wanted to patronize… the dressing wasn’t on the menu but I asked about it.
For $6.13 I got a sample that was poor in taste and poor in quantity, if 4 ounces.

I had high hopes for this place because it looks so nice. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect that. I had the jerk eggrolls and a plate with fried chicken and two sides. The bag was sopping wet with grease, it seemed as if they just pulled it out of the grease and dropped it in the bag. Same with the chicken- extremely greasy. The sides were mediocre. Not only was the food disappointing, but the service was horrible. As soon as I pulled up to the drive through the music was blasting loud. The lady at the window was rude, and un-informed. I asked her multiple times what kind of meat what in the Philly eggroll, to which she responded to me “it’s Philly meat” repeatedly , even when I tried to clarify 3 times is it chicken or steak, being that a Philly is just a style of sandwich.

I’ve only had one plate which was pork chops, collard greens, and yams, but it was absolutely delicious. It’s very hard to satisfy everybody when it comes to Soul Food, but this was extremely good and I think if you order the same, you would be highly pleased!

I heard so many negative comments about Jackson’s but a friend of mine told me to try it for myself. I’m so happy I did. The woman who took my order was kind and professional. I ordered a five piece fried chicken dinner with mac and cheese and collard greens as my sides. It was served with a can of soda. I asked for my chicken “fried kind of hard” and they typed it just like that on the receipt. The chicken came JUST as I requested. A perfect golden brown but hard to my liking. The sides were seasoned, no hot sauce needed to add flavor to the greens. The flavor is there! Even the mac and cheese was well seasoned. I will certainly be back. FYI this is a drive thru establishment. My food was hot and fresh so I did have to pull over and wait but that was expected as I was the first in line.

When looking for some good Soul Food Jackson’s is the spot. So on Mondays they have very good Turkey legs cook to perfection. Peach cobbler is not overly sweet but just right. Customer service is the best and the explanation of the menu and what they have has been nothing but professional. Thanks for making me and my family some happy customers. Keep up the awesome job.

Like, me and my sister didn’t even get a chance to order. We walked to the door at 6:30 pm, they don’t close until 9. We got to the door, it was locked. A young man came to the door to let us know drive thru only. As he is telling us that, there’s a ratchet young lady behind him repeating to us what he is saying, and I let her know I hear what he said, and she replied, well I’m just letting you know! That alone made us not want to order any food from there. At the end of the day, it starts with customer service. Bad attitudes make me not wanna eat your food! It’s time to do better Jacksons because y’all reviews are getting worse and worse! I will never know how their food taste, I guess I dodged a bullet. And I’m pretty sure I’m not the first and won’t be the last person to experience such horrible service!

I haven’t tried Jackson Soul food yet but I have read the reviews. And in opinion if you want Jamaican food go to a restaurant that specializes in that. Order soul food and then make a decision. Supporting black business doesn’t mean trash them in the comments make your concerns to the owners and give them a chance to work on that. Everybody doesn’t like what everyone else likes take it from there. I will be dining with them soon. And I will give my honest review.

The best thing they have going here is the curb appeal. Service was terrible. When I pulled up to the drive-thru speaker to order there was no greeting. I said hello to them first. Then they ask what do you want. Rude and lacking effort. The food was equally as unappealing. Chicken had no seasoning other than salt. Also, looks just like JJs low quality chicken without the powered salt seasoning, which may have helped. Please step up the ingredients. The Mac and cheese was over seasoned with seasoning salt, which is not good. My 10 yr old daughter could not tolerate it either. Also, Mac and cheese was not baked and looked like stove top instant. The yams were ok and the best thing on the plate. I would give the food a 1-2. Definitely not worth the price of $20 for 5 chicken wings and 2 sides. Try again. NOT CERTIFIED!

I wish that I would have read the reviews before I made my purchase. I ordered 2 sides of greens with turkey meat I got all the way home and to my surprise there was no turkey meat in the greens. The portions were small and extremely salty. I also ordered 2 Philly egg rolls which may as well been cheese rolls because I didn’t taste any meat or bell peppers; maybe because they were the length of a business card. The place looks so nice but I remember talking to someone just as they were first opening it up and the man I spoke to was so rude that was my first sign. will not be back and definitely won’t recommend.
