Another excellent experience at Mellow Mushroom. Their pizza crust is great and the fresh, flavorful toppings never disappoint. My son says everytime we visit that they have the best buffalo chicken pizza anywhere around. For the other pizzas, the meatball is good flavor with the perfect texture. The sausage is also the perfect texture with just the right amount of spicy to remind you it’s there. More pork toppings we enjoyed were the ham and salami.

This is hands down the best Mellow Mushroom location I’ve been to. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very welcoming. My waitress took great care of me and my boyfriend who has some dietary restrictions. We both enjoyed our meals and cleaned our plates. I would have had dessert too but I was already so full. 10/10

This was our second visit to the Holly Springs location. We went during the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday, and it was pretty empty. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. The food was good, as well. It’s definitely a smaller Mellow Mushroom, and the location isn’t easy to find…meaning if you’re just driving down the road, you’d never know it was there. Will definitely go again.

The atmosphere here is fun. A great place to take your family when you’re not looking for gourmet quality food. Salads were good, pizza was okay – lots of toppings and the veggies were fresh. Not the best sauce I’ve had or the best dough, but OK. I’m from New Jersey and we take those things very seriously 🙂

Biggest complaint was that the sun was blasting right in our eyes and there were no shades or screens to pull down. We were all wearing sunglasses and had to move around to get our faces in some sort of shade. This was for the entire 2 hours that we were there. I hope I don’t have any more wrinkles from squinting. This really should be fixed

Pretty nice place when we visited. Our server was super nice & gave us our space to enjoy our meal in peace instead of being pushy & crowding us the entire time like they do at other restaraunts.
The food was great & honestly better than we were expecting it to be. The cheese bread alone had us planning our next visit.
As a great bonus, the sweet tea actually tasted clean & like tea! instead of like straight dirt, which says a lot to the folks who get tea with their food.

I really wish I could give this Mellow a better star rating. I’ve held off rating since they opened. Unfortunately, the quality of food does not correlate with the prices charged. Tonight, we ordered a medium meatball pizza, and this is what arrived—a small handful of meatballs scattered across the pizza. In other recent instances, we’ve experienced the kitchen leaving BBQ sauce off the Funky Q (a signature part of that dish), and repeated instances where they’ve made mistakes dealing with dairy allergies (despite very clear instructions). In most instances, we order cheeseless pizzas and ask for heavier toppings. Without fail, we end up paying $40 for a pizza with truly scant toppings, and have talked with management. We love the flavor of Mellow pizzas and have had great experiences elsewhere. This Mellow is struggling to live up to the quality/cost expectations. The servers and management are nothing but friendly, but that doesn’t produce a satisfying dinner. Please, Mellow, fix these issues. We want to come back and support you guys.

Good pizza. We ordered the Kosmic Karma, a greek salad, meatball sub, and hamburger. Everything tasted good, but we waited forever to be served the food. Our server, McKenna, was very nice and apologized for the wait. The
manager explained that they were short staffed, but even still, it was way too long to wait for a pizza. We brought have of it home. It was a Friday night, and if we ever go again, it will definitely be on a different day and time.
