UPDATE..We went back to try again and I have changed all my stars to 5’s.. The young man behind the counter was AWESOME and extremely helpful.. The chicken on the chicken parm sub was cooked just right, the salad was wonderful and only a handful of stem pieces.. We also tried some wings and they were good.. We will be back.. ( Thank you for taking the reviews into consideration and making our 2nd experience great!!! food was okay, only reason for the 4 stars is my husband loved the chicken egg rolls, (he liked the chicken over the steak) and the worker was friendly. The salad was mostly stems (about 80%) ( I have a picture if I can figure out how to add it, the chicken for the chicken parm was super crunchy and way over fried (literally cut the inside of my mouth). The drinks on the kiosk do not say if they are machine or bottle/can (Arnold Palmer).. On the kiosk there is no way to add or remove something from a sandwich. (Ex- chicken parm, no way to add mushrooms, peppers or extra cheese).. When asked, the worker said that’s just the way it is for the favorites.. No explanation of sauces (sexy sauce, philly sauce, etc).. The workers both had head phones in both ears and people were having to literally scream to get their attention.. 1 head phone in 1 ear okay cool, but not 2.. There are tv’s but they were in like screen saver mode.. Only thing you heard was other people talking.. and 1 sided phone conversations.. The tv’s on low or a low music would have been great. We drove over an hour to try this place. We will try it again one day and I will update my review.. The location and area are both great.. Not really counter seating, but a long table in the windows, like a bar, really cute.

South Philly Steak is the best in the Orlando area.
The prices are very reasonable. The personnel (Max and Braeden) were extremely courteous and polite. They made sure that our order was correct and we were completely satisfied. We highly recommend this restaurant.

The Philly steak sandwich was spot on, made to order and with quantity and fresh ingredients. Definitely the place to visit for lunch. Be warned the place gets busy and wait time is 15 min but is totally worth it!

This place should take Philly off of their building. We people from Philly look for places down here that say they make Philly Cheesesteaks. This place is the worst i have ever tasted. You’re gonna have the wrong person come in one day and go off on you because you are not selling Philly Cheesesteaks. You are just selling meat and cheese sandwiches. I don’t know of any area of Philadelphia that makes their cheesesteaks the way these people do. Very sorry and no taste. no flavor. Y’all should close down. Stop saying you’re selling Philly cheesesteaks. You’re disrespecting and insulting the people from Philadelphia.

My family has been coming here for subs for years but I’ve never had their burger before today. A $10 smash burger with *two* patties, cheese, and add your own jalapeños, pickles, onion, etc.? Amazing value and the burger was delicious. I had even added an extra patty and made it a triple bc I didn’t expect there to be two patties! 10/10 will order again.

$10 lunch special, can’t beat it! Hot, fast, great staff and plenty of parking. Best lunch special in Orlando!

Visited this restaurant for take-out. Was looking for a Philly cheesesteak. Very good. You can order on line a create your custom Cheesesteak. You pick your type of roll, your cheese, your sauces, and any add on’s. For FL, they do a good job of bringing me back to Philly.

Great location in downtown Avalon Park. Service was great. The beer selection was also nice kinda different. Didn’t have the best experience with their philly cheese steak sub. It was tasteless. I don’t think I will come back but if you are from the area, this should be good option for you.

A good smash burger with generous portions and fries, but nothing amazing. Each burger already comes with 2 patties. Go for the brioche bun. For the best deal, they have a Wed special. Service was friendly and prices were very reasonable. I’d come back to try a Philly cheesesteak.

From someone who lived in South Philly for 10 years, specifically in South Philadelphia, I believe they should change the name of their restaurant. I suppose people in Florida are not familiar with the local cuisine. The cheesesteaks are, at best, mediocre, and the service has been sour during my three visits. It seemed as if they didn’t value or need my business. Well, I won’t be returning. I’m a friendly and polite person, so I can understand why they might have a North Philly vibe, but that’s about it.
