One of the best, most authentic and delicious Mexican spots around! The atmosphere is a smaller, but charming space. The Owner, Carlos and his staff are extremely knowledgeable, talented, and hospitable. As a vegan, I very much enjoyed that they curated a menu where omnivores and vegans alike have can enjoy incredible food in the same restaurant without giving up variety or quality. My party and I had The Vegan Birria Trio, Beef and Jalapeño Tamales, The Cheese and Poblano Taco, a side of Rice and Beans, and the Hibiscus tea.

Stopped here before a show at Hedback Theater nearby for a quick dinner. My wife and I are from out of town and my niece lives in Indy. We’re both vegan and my niece is not so we were looking for something we could all enjoy. All three of us really enjoy Mexican food so this looked perfect (and it was).
I had a Pinto Bean Tamale which isn’t the most appetizing looking thing. It was really good though and the roja made it very flavorful. What really intrigued me was the Hibiscus Flower Tacos. Never thought I’d eat a flower taco but they were excellent! I don’t really know how to describe them, tons of flavor, nice consistency, a little messy. Next time I’ll skip the tamale and get more tacos!
My wife had the Vegan Birria Tacos and she liked them a lot. She said the consome was a little too spicy but otherwise flavor was great. They were exceptionally messy but that may just be how she is. She would have rather ordered something else along with the birria tacos but since they came as a trio she didn’t.
My niece had the Chicken Mole Entree. She had never eaten here before and knew she was in for something different when we picked the spot. She said, “it was bomb” and ate everything.
My wife’s got a show picked out for next year and I think we’ll head back to the Hedback and Tlaolli and do it again. Good stuff, check it out.

Everything about this restaurant is 10/10. This food is amazing. My son and I are plant based and really enjoys the birria tacos, beans & rice and the tamales. The chef Is ensuring authentic flavors are present. The service was great as well. This was our second time there and we’ll be back for sure.

Really nice place and I loved the vegan hibiscus tacos but unfortunately couldn’t try much else including add one except plain avocado due to fear of cross contamination with tomatoes which I have a nasty allergy to. Better safe than sorry though I was sad. My cousin enjoyed his food and the owner and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is really quaint and lovely as it’s like being in a flower garden.

This was legitimately some of the best food I’ve ever had. I had a pork carnitas taco, a poblano and cheese taco, and a pork asada taco. It was all amazing!
They even had a LOT of vegetarian and vegan options; a couple folks walked in for that reason while I was dining there.
Do yourself a favor if you’re in Indy and go here. You won’t regret it!

I finally made it to this restaurant today and wow am I blown away!! First of all, the building is the prettiest shade of purple and is so cute. I told the owner I was new so he did a run down of the menu for me while I was deciding on what to get. Honestly, I wanted 1 of everything it all sounded delicious. I’m not vegan but I love eating vegan food so I tried the vegan birria tacos. I also got chips and salsa and a cheese and poblano tamale. I had asked for a box thinking there’s no way I could eat all of it myself but I ate EVERY BITE and feel so good and nourished. Sometimes you leave restaurant and feel stuffed and ready for a nap but I felt light and energized. The quality, taste, and portion size is perfect. Everything had so much flavor. Service was quick, there’s plenty of parking and places to sit, and they have a good sized menu with both regular and vegan options. I’m so excited to go back and try more of their menu. I’m telling you…. Please go visit this place. You will thank me later
