Food was good.
Restaurant is clean.
It’s the newer style set up with not many tables to eat in the restaurant.
Set up more for the drive through and grab n go.
Parking lot is not set up for any type of work truck or trailer. So us working guys be prepared to park in the Hockers parking lot and make the walk ♂️ through the parking lot.

The lady that was working was very rude. This was the first time I was told that they “threw my food out because it had been longer than 15 minutes since my App order” despite the App indicating that the food starts being prepared upon your arrival and check-in. Then the order was inaccurate and my politely saying so caused the same worker to huff and roll her eyes then eventually put the order on the rack in the lobby and walk off… Goodness… I will say it did sound like what appeared to be the Manager on Duty was attempting to “get the staff together”.

This is a newer McDonald’s location, and I really wanted to give it a fair chance — but the quality control and service have been consistently disappointing.
On my first DoorDash order, they forgot a Happy Meal but still charged for it. DoorDash did refund it, but mistakes like that shouldn’t be happening so soon after opening.
Today, I decided to give them another try by going through the drive-thru. After getting home, I realized they forgot the dipping sauces (not the end of the world), but also missed one of the snack wraps that was part of my meal. My child’s Happy Meal was also missing the apple slices — instead, they put in an extra order of fries without asking if that substitution was okay.
On top of that, the wait time was long, and when I finally got my order, the drive-thru worker rushed it out to me without saying anything. I know I should’ve double-checked the order before leaving, but after waiting so long, I was already frustrated.
This location clearly needs better training and quality control to ensure orders are accurate and service is efficient. It’s a shame to see this level of performance from a brand-new store. I would appreciate if the general manager could reach out — I truly hope this can be addressed and improved.

We were sent to a parking spot for a drive through order with no time frame. After 30 minutes I went inside to see a line of others who had been waiting 30 minutes for their own food. I had to walk halfway into the kitchen just to find an employee to hand my check to in order to cancel our order. Worst mcdonalds I’ve seen by far.

Let me say that the current rating does not reflect the experience that I had today. Used the mobile order (always)! Food was hot, fresh, and ready when I arrived. The interaction between the employee and I was brief and simple. She asked if I would like a drink carrier being that I was picking up two orders.
The location was clean!!! Loved that! Please keep that up!
-We like to report the bad and not always the good. Today was good!! I want to thank everyone at this location for their work.

I’m a 17-year-old girl, and I’m writing about an awful experience at the McDonald’s in Ocean View, Delaware. My friends and I, all minors, placed and paid for a mobile order and went to pick it up like normal. When we got there, the staff suddenly accused us of being involved in some kind of incident that happened earlier — something we had absolutely nothing to do with.
They told us to “stay right where you are” while they called the police, then walked away and refused to explain anything. They wouldn’t even tell us what we were supposedly being accused of. We were left sitting there for about 45 minutes — scared, confused, and with no adults or guardians present. The employees refused to talk to us or let us leave, so we had to contact our parents ourselves.
When the police finally arrived, they immediately confirmed we weren’t involved in anything and hadn’t even been present when the incident occurred. Only then did McDonald’s finally give us our food — which was completely cold and had clearly been sitting out the entire time.
There was no apology, no accountability, and no understanding of how wrong this was. The staff at this location unlawfully detained three minors, refused communication, and treated us like criminals for no reason. This was humiliating, distressing, and completely unacceptable. McDonald’s needs to review this incident and retrain their employees on how to handle customers — especially minors — with basic respect and legal awareness.

I have eaten here twice. The food is warmish. Not hot. The staff is indifferent and could care less whether you are there or not. Burger was 3/4 off the bun. Ordered inside and when food was ready they put on the counter and didn’t say my order was done. When I finally asked about my food the cashier pointed to it.

At 225 on January 5th 2026 the lady working at the second window refused to give us more sauce. We were willing to pay for an additional sauce and she huffed and puffed as if that was some kind of absurd request. For somebody making minimum wage this was a very easy request. Yet she was still too incompetent to grab a sauce that is already pre packaged for them. Maybe 15 dollars an hour is too much to be paying this girl. A lot of people need jobs she can’t be hard to replace. Completely incompetent. The lady at the first window was very nice. Sure she could run both windows by herself.

I have eaten McDonald’s thousands of times in my life. My fries were very fresh and hot. But when I really tasted the fries it tasted like fish. I assume either they were cooking the fillet of fish inside of one of the frying vats meant for the fries. Or they cooked the fries in the filet of fish frying vat. I attempted to call the store, however the number is not listed online yet. I don’t think this has ever happened before. I have had cold fries. I have had over salted fries. I have had really old dry fries. I’ve never had fishy fries. At least they were hot and fresh. I will be back because it is McDonald’s. Maybe tomorrow or next week.

I have continuously tried to give this establishment-because it is new-the benefit of the doubt but every single time my order is wrong or I’m missing items. They seem so scrambled and it’s so chaotic every single time. there are no straws napkins outside in the lobby, so you have to wait and wait and wait for someone to hand you those . There’s only one register inside and four kiosks which I think are double sided so that would make eight so it’s clear they’d rather you order yourself and then have someone do it for you . They definitely should have worked on training everyone a little bit longer before opening-every time I get asked at the drive-through what I ordered… aren’t they supposed to know that? I really hope they can get it together. I went inside to get my missing sandwich this morning only to find out my hashbrowns were missing when I got home so I paid for meals and didn’t get the complete meal.
