So many great things to say! We randomly stopped in for the Wednesday Night Dive Bar Music Series. It was very busy and, allthough we did not have a reservation, we counted ourselves lucky that they found us a table. We learned from our amazingly attentive server that the restaurant is farm-to-table. So, the menu is ever-changing. We tried several small plates including the standouts of the night – Shrimp Asiago, Beef Tenderloin Skewers, and Duck. We also split one of the dive bar smash burgers, which was fantastic! The food was delivered to our table in waves, at just the right pace. For dessert, we sampled each menu item, and honestly, I hope they never change the selection. The Creme Brulee, Chocolate Cake and Passionfruit Cloud were all to die for! The music was great (special shout out to Emilio Salinas), the lights were low and the vibes were fantastic. Everyone there was well-fed, well-served and enjoying their evening. At the end of our meal, the owner/chef, Paul, visited our table to check in and introduce himself. He was very friendly, and it was the perfect way to cap-off our lovely experience. If you go, I definitely recommend a reservation.

Delicious and beautiful presentations all around! Highly recommend going here for special occasions for intimate gatherings. Service was A+ and the quality of all of our menu items are immaculate. We love that they source menu items locally as well!

What an exceptional and unexpectedly fabulous meal. Every dish was inventive, beautifully presented, and uniformly delicious. Highlights at our table included the mushroom yakitori, an indulgently cheesy shrimp Asiago, an imaginative re-interpretation of steak frites, and a savory chicken crêpe. Even though we were full, we couldn’t resist the passion fruit cloud—and it was an absolute home run.
Service, led by Destiny, was impeccable. I also appreciate that a 20% gratuity is automatically included on the bill; we were more than happy to add a bit extra in cash on top.

This gem is full of surprises every time. An ever-evolving menu and always try something new that blows my mind. Memorable experience each time. Great place for a special occasion or just an outing during the week. There’s more affordable options available too for a quick bite. If you happen to know Chef Paul Sletten personally, youre in luck, he’s always aiming to make it a great visit. Top Rockford gem for sure!

We came here for birthday because of a recommendation from a dear friend, and it didn’t disappoint! Our server was Marilyn, who was attentive and friendly, always came checking on us and made sure everything was going great. The foods were delicious, we especially like the duck nachos, very flavorful and tasty. Entrees were great too, salmon was cooked in the way it melted in your mouth. Menu selection might not be extensive compared with others but if you like seafood you should be able to find something you like. We had an awesome dinner. Yes, they added 20% service charge and Marilyn explained it when she gave us the check, which was fine and it wasn’t done sneakily at all, after all their service deserved it.

Our first time to Abreo and let me say, the hype is real! Where do I even start? …….the atmosphere, beautiful and relaxing. Our server, Adam, was awesome. He gave us great recommendations and was spot on,personable, courteous, and attentive.
The appetizer and main dishes, omg, unbelievably delicious. Salmon and scallops were cooked perfectly.
If you’re in search of fine dining, you’ll find none better. We told Adam we have a new favorite place! We are going to make this our date night place. So well done Abreo!

My family took me to Abreo to celebrate my 80th birthday. What a priceless memory I will have. There were 7 of us. Adam was our friendly and very competent server. We ordered a variety of small plates and some very creative cocktails.. Both our food and drinks were top notch! We were able to sit and talk and lastly we shared a birthday surprise crème brulee.
. Abreo will be an experience not to be forgotten and I highly recommend it for special occasions.
