I would like to share my husband and I review with everyone! We rented out their event space upstairs for our small wedding ceremony with a dinner to follow, and it exceeded our expectations and all of our guests as well. Working with Emma, the manager, was seamless and wonderful. She was attentive to emails, questions, concerns and everything in between. She made planning this wedding extremely LESS Stressful! The whole entire staff that worked the night of our wedding was outstanding! Every single one of our guests said the service was the best they have ever had and they we so amazing. Bridget, who was our main server, worked with me on timing and when to bring all the courses out numerous times so everyone and everything ran smoothly. The bartender was just as important and made some amazing cocktails and N/A beverages for all our guests. The espresso martinis were out of this world!! Lastly, the food….truly some of the best food we have ever had. All courses came out hot, cooked to perfection, with the best flavors ever. Everyone of our guests said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. If our guests couldn’t finish their meal, they were able to take the leftovers home, which they all loved! Many of our guests will now be returning as patrons to try more! If you are looking for a dinner for 2 or an event, I highly recommend the Union House!!!

What an incredible experience at Union House! Will was our server, and he was absolutely brilliant, friendly, attentive, and perfectly in tune with the table without ever being intrusive.
The Chilean sea bass was cooked to perfection, delicate and buttery with flavors that truly burst in every bite. The antelope game special was equally impressive, savory, tender, and beautifully prepared.
We finished with the cappuccino and crème brûlée. Which was the perfect balance of texture and sweetness.
From service to presentation to flavor, everything was top tier. We will absolutely be back.

The staff was amazing! We accidentally showed up under-dressed and they were very gracious.
The menu has some unique offerings as well as some reimagined classics.
I would recommend reservations on the weekends as well as dressing up a little bit.

Mains were great. Spouse said it was top 5 best steaks of his life. I had the game special (antelope ragout) and it was delicious. The sea special was good too, but both needed something to finish it off, something fresh maybe. The brussels and desserts were okay.

My husband and I tried this restaurant for our anniversary dinner. We never ate here before but was told it was worth the drive! We got a little note at dinner table that was thoughtful. The service was nice and not rushed. We liked the meatballs and the French onion soup. I’m a lighter eater so I had the Caesar salad added a crab cake as my add on to it. It has a nice taste the crab cake was well flavored. I don’t know what the Caesar salad would be $15 though for as just a starter vs me getting it as my meal- it doesn’t have meat or bacon etc it’s just the lettuce and not much dressing and a little cheese.i really liked the taste I’m just saying if someone ordered that as a starter,

I would like to come back. Smaller menu as far as entree options but again I’m a smaller eater so I found something still to eat. It was a nice evening out. I would say the atmosphere a little too dim lit in there. Christmas decor still up in middle of February a bit off also but rest of the evening was good! I just wanted to comment why I gave the atmosphere

We had never gone to the union house before and it definitely did not disappoint! When I made our anniversary, I told them it was our overdue wedding anniversary. We were seated in a cozy and private booth. The drinks were delicious and the food was even better. The service was excellent too! They gave us a little card wishing us a Happy Anniversary and then a decedent dessert with well wishes too! What a little gem in quaint little Genessee Depot.

Where has this Gem been all my life. The ambiance is Breathtaking, Romantic, Quaint and so much more. Such a Beautiful Gem tucked away in Genesse Depot. We started with Hand Crafted Signature drinks-Barrel Aged Old Fashion and an “I’m Your Huckleberry” Our table was spot on ready at reservation time. Our table crisp and cozy. Greeted by our server who was attention to detail from the Tiger Prawns to Lobster Bisque to Filet with demi glaze to Chocolate Sponge Cake and ohhh that Grasshopper Ice Cream Drink. This Gem goes above & beyond. Definitely will be back sooner then later.

Made a reservation. Got there a little early and had a cocktail in the bar area. (The Old Fashioneds are very good, we like the cinnamon stick and garnish) The place was busy (Saturday night). Got seated right on schedule. Our server greeted us almost immediately at the table. The service throughout the entire meal was great. Attentive without feeling rushed (thanks Marilyn)
We had a couple of appetizer, Octopus, and Pork Belly. Both were excellent. The bread server was fresh and out of the oven warm. Each of our entrees (Wild Game Meatloaf, Porkchop, Salmon, and Short Ribs) were generous portions, thoughtfully prepared, and perfect temperature.
We didn’t have room for dessert, but we ordered anyways. We shared the Peach Crisp and the Chocolate Decadence. Both very good, but my favorite was the chocolate cake.
We will definitely be back!
