Just driving through and found they had chicken wings. And they had a specialty “Jacks way” which I love when creativity sets in. I ordered them and they were fantastic. Ruben was awesome. Homemade potato salad was great and fresh. Great beer prices. Then there is the service! Hands down a great server (Leanne) was so nice and informative. Just so nice to talk to. Go there if you get the chance!

Great burger and decent bratwurst sandwiches. The burger was flame grilled and we got the onion rings with it. The bratwurst was decent although I would’ve liked a more hefty sausage on the bun. The sauerkraut was good and the potato salad as well. My wife got the strawberry lemonade, but it kind of tasted like powdered lemonade. there were lots of televisions around and a great looking bar. Would recommend going to watch the games.

Jack’s Place is a super cute and casual dining experience. I love the ambiance and our server was terrific! It’s nestled right there in downtown Boulder City amongst some other cute places I’d like to try some day. I was not very impressed with my Frisco burger special. It was on sour dough with Parmesan cheese grilled into the bread. It had a burnt taste to it, even though there was no burnt appearance. The burger patty was very thin and therefore overcooked easily, and it was. The dressing was tasty and I enjoyed that on the burger. The sweet potato fries are a must upgrade! My husband absolutely loved the Reuben! He said it was fantastic. Next time, I’ll try something other than a burger.
The decor was eclectic and fun. They had TVs placed around and the windows open on a beautiful day. It was a fun place to go and I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again!

Sara and Izzy are amazing! Place is slammed and they didnt stop. Smiles on the faces during a playoff game. Checking in if we needed anything even if they were driving by dropping off something to another table.
Bathrooms and restaurant were clean as far as you could see.
Would stop after a hike at Lake Mead from here on out!

I cannot for the life of me, understand how this place has such high reviews..
I stopped in for lunch and ordered fish and chips and fried pickles… the fish was most definitely pre-frozen fillets and the fries were frozen as well…
The pickles may have been in house, but nothing else was. I didn’t care for the Panko breading on the pickles and I could’ve gotten the fish and french fries from the freezer section at the grocery store for a lot less than $45.
Very disappointed

Very nice place. Felt so authentic and familiar. The food was absolutely delicious and the personal was friendly and warm. We are vegetarian so we ordered onion rings (this is a must try!), cheese balls and vegetarian wraps. All of them were so good. We highly recommend this place if it is in your way!

I recently stopped by Jack’s Place in Boulder City, NV, and it’s easy to see why this spot is a local favorite. Tucked into the historic downtown at 544 Nevada Way, this sports bar and grill has a laid-back vibe that’s perfect for unwinding after a day exploring nearby spots like Lake Mead or the Hoover Dam. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming—think open doors spilling out onto the sidewalk on a nice evening, with the hum of live music or sports on the TVs filling the air.
The menu is packed with classic American fare that hits all the right notes. I went for the Jack’s Burger, which lived up to its reputation as a standout—juicy, fresh, and cooked just right, with all the fixings you’d want. The chili cheese fries were a highlight too, loaded with flavor and perfect for sharing (or not—I won’t judge). They’ve got a solid lineup of small bites like potato skins and corn cob bites, plus heartier options like bratwurst and quesadillas. Pair it with a cold beer from their tap selection, and you’re set.
Service was friendly and attentive, even when the place started to fill up. The staff clearly know their regulars, but they made me feel right at home too. The outdoor seating is a nice touch if you want to soak in the Boulder City charm, though it’s not exactly a spot for kids—more of a grown-up hangout with a sports bar edge.
If you’re looking for great food, a relaxed setting, and a taste of local energy, Jack’s Place delivers. It’s not fancy, but it doesn’t need to be. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town—maybe for karaoke night or to catch a game. Four stars for a solid experience!

This is a fun bar. The food is great and reasonably priced. The beer is always really cold. The servers are super friendly and take care of us. They have live bands play on the weekends, which makes it fun. They have the best fries in town!

Rare gem in a small town. We went to Hoover dam and decided to find a place for food. Jacks place is a great find. The onion rings were great and we had the BLT turkey wrap. And get the potato salad side. You will be glad you stopped
