Very good food! I come from montebello because my daughters wanted to try it. I highly recommend the teriyaki fries, it’s a great portion for 2. I got some onion rings and I was very satisfied they are so good. My daughter got the breakfast burrito and she also enjoyed it! If you want good tradicional burger place this a great option. Will be coming back, it’s worth the drive.

I am a sucker for burger spots like this. Some experiences good, some alright, but this one was by far the best. I got the Santa Barbara burger and every individual part was cooked to perfection.

an LP classic It’s a very unassuming spot that retains its googie architectural charm (but could def benefit from some TLC)
My GO TO is the Bacon Avocado Cheeseburger and after 2 years being away from home … they taste just as good as I remembered My Dad got the Santa Fe Burger as recommended!
I’ll definitely be checking out their breakfast burger next !

We hadn’t been here in years. But the chicken teriyaki plate n beef teriyaki plate was still fire. My sons enjoyed the burgers! The place on the inside was very clean but the seats could use some upholstery. But id definitely go again! The service was great!!

This portion is big for me so I can to go the remaining half for the next day lunch. Due to my work cycle, there are days that I work extra hours and very busy. This place is perfect for these days or lazy days. The service is very fast too!

Back then the ex would get the combination teriyaki plate to share because even then the serving was more than enough for two. Service was always fast but friendly. Fast forward to 2023, coming back and seeing the same tables and benches really made me realize that time has gone by fast and furiously. The vibe of OG vintage give me the feels. The next generation owner still carries on the fantastic service of old.
We ordered the surf and turf fried rice with a side of shrimp, fried zucchini and sweet potato fries. Food was good. Really enjoyed the piping hot zucchini and sweet potato fries. The homemade ranch and thousand island dressing are to die for.

G&D Burgers is a local family business. Their menu is super innovative and expansive. The portions are so generous and their prices are super affordable. I really love the atmosphere of the restaurant as well. The staff is very nice and friendly. They are also super accommodating as well! I would definitely suggest checking this place out!

What I Ordered:

– Bacon and Cheese Tater Tots with Grilled Onion
– Chicken Teriyaki with Shrimp
– Tater Tot, Bacon, and Egg Burger
Lets start with the appetizers and talk about the homemade onion rings. This is no small side order of onion rings and is a great appetizer to share with a family. Not only is the portion big but the onion rings themselves are nice and hefty. The onion rings were perfectly golden with the right batter to onion ratio. It also came with their homemade ranch and thousand island as dipping sauce. These homemade sauces were a real highlight of the meal for me because I could not get over how good they were!
Next up is the tater tots. The tots themselves were fried perfectly where they were nice and crispy on the outside but still fluffy on the inside. The tots were then covered in more of that delicious homemade thousand island, whole pieces of bacon, cheese, grilled onions, and green onions. A master piece really. If you love animal style fries from In N Out, you will love this 100 times more because these tots really are next level!
On top the showstopper that is the burger. Bacon, egg, and tater tots, two layers of meat and cheese. This is genuinely my dream burger with my FAVORITE burger add ons. This burger is MASSIVE and absolutely delicious.
Finally we have their FAMOUS chicken teriyaki with shrimp. This place is so generous with their portion. I mean just look at how much shrimp is on this dish! This dish is packed full of chicken, shrimp, and grilled onions over a bed of white rice. They definitely do not skimp. This box is big enough to feed 2 people but even then it is A LOT of food so you know you’re getting your monies worth with this for sure. I loved the delicious char flavor that goes along so well with the taste of the sweet grilled onions. I can definitely see why is this such a popular item and it is definitely a MUST try item on their menu but honestly everything is so good I recommend trying to all!
