I was on my lunch break looking for decent food in the area and I saw that this place was only a mile away. I don’t typically hang out on this side of town, but I figured the food would be at least decent. When I walked in, I was greeted by the chef who is really nice and did informed me that they were only serving breakfast. I ordered two over easy eggs, grits, and chicken wings which also came with toast. It took about 15 minutes and the food was fresh. I made a joke about the chicken when I first saw it I called it light skin chicken because I’m used to chicken being a little more brown. That is the best chicken that I have had since I’ve been in Georgia. It was perfectly cooked not overdone and not overly seasoned. It was the perfect flavor. My eggs came out amazing. I didn’t eat my eggs for about 10 minutes after they were made and they still were running on the inside just like I like them, I will definitely be returning because the food was great. The one thing I will say is that the area is sketchy so make sure to keep your car locked and remove all valuables. The food was very affordable. I believe I paid about $10 plus a tip. The food and friendliness here were wonderful! We had lunch one day and breakfast the next. I didn’t take photos of our breakfast but the kids’ hotcake meal had a hotcake as big as the full-size to go container! Our lunch was fried fish (we had whiting and catfish) and various sides, all of which were delectable and such large portions we all had some to take with us.
This place deserves all the accolades from locals and is most definitely worth a stop if you’re traveling, too. Thank you, MeMezz!

Great food at non-Atlanta prices, and the servings are healthy. Now…this is a hood spot in Adamsville. As we were walking in, the guy in front of us was putting out his blunt before he entered. When you get inside, there are old tables and chairs that need to be replaced, and the vibe is an old-school community restaurant. You can eat in, but most people get their food to go. It is not really a dine-in spot. This isn’t for the Atlanta brunch crowd, but the food is great, made fresh, and the staff is friendly.

The Owner is Sweet as pie She is the Only cook and she EXECUTEs the call of duty on the food EVERY TIME I have supported this business. I will continue to promote and uplift this business every chance I get. Today I got the BBQ, it was delicious but I have been hooked on her breakfast plates .

The food here at this restaurant is fantastic, they give you a large amount of food for a great price. The cooks are friendly in the atmosphere is cool and they always have some mellow 90s music playing. It’s a super great atmosphere.

One of my favorite restaurants. The food is amazing but the inconsistency is a turn off. You never know what is going to be available, there is no number to call it’s just the luck of the draw. Super disappointed.

Don’t get me wrong. The food is great but they’re supposed to open at 8:30 and they don’t be on time. You can’t set your business up to open at a certain time and you get their hours after the opening time y’all gotta understand people be having things to do. I’m not telling nobody how to run a business but when you set your opening time at 8:30 people will come around that time, but when we be sitting outside, waiting for y’all to open and y’all still don’t open, that’s very inconsiderate. Change your time simple or keep getting compliance. I’ve been here since 8:30 and it’s now 9:30 and y’all still not open.
