Loving Hut Vegan Vietnamese in Garden Grove was one of the best and most surprisingly delicious meals I’ve had in a while.
I’ll admit I was not in search of vegan food but the entire meal we had was amazing. The spring rolls were fresh and the pad Thai was so good.
The Pho I tried was filling and tasty. We really enjoyed talking to the our server and appreciated their hospitality and service.

THERE IS SO MUCH LOVE IN THIS HUT❣️ We had the most lovely evening eating here tonight!!! The food is the best vegan food in OC!!! We eat here all the time and can’t recommend it enough! The host Loan is an absolute angel and with such a kind, genuine big heart. Her sweet energy and good vibes really make the experience of dinning in here so memorable. She’s a hard worker even working today on Mother’s day and her Birthday, she loves what she does and takes such good care of her customers❣️ ❤️ We love loving hut!!!

I have eaten vegan food across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and France and I can say, hands-down that this is the best experience that I have ever had! The food is delicious, beautifully presented, and the people who work here are so nice. They are so happy to answer questions and they are really sanitary. Very delicious, peaceful, wonderful experience! If I come back to Anaheim, this is definitely the place I will eat. We loved it so much we came here a couple of times during our stay 🙂

I got the fried mushrooms and they tasted okay but I was expecting them to be fried hard but they were soggy and oily and it seemed like the coating may have still been dough like. But that’s all I got so I don’t know how anything else tastes. There may be better items on the menu.

The owner helped me order for my husband who needed something soothing. She was concerned for his health and compassionate. The pho was exactly what he needed. Great experience, thank you!

A delightful little restaurant with savory, tangy, spicy, delicious and fresh food it made the idea of being a vegan seem so easy. They use a variety of plant protein to replace meat that you don’t even notice it is vegan (vegetarian). The lemongrass “chicken” was so delicious and savory; the tangy orange “chicken” was just like sweet and sour chicken with pineapple, bell peppers and onions, only it tasted better than any Chinese restaurant’s version with real chicken meat, especially since there were no gristle or tendons or chunks of fat to deal with. I really enjoyed the orange cream drink. It was made with a blend of orange juice and soy milk, but there was also an option of almond milk or coconut cream.
Their customer service was excellent and service was quick, too. The food came so quickly after ordering.
My friends and I enjoyed dinner at the Loving Hut so much that we went back the next night to have dinner there again.
While we mostly ordered entrees that were Asian fusion we also enjoyed chicken tacos, and they also offer vegan burgers and deli sandwiches. I hope to try their vegan bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich “B.L.T.” next time.
Everything was so tasty that we didn’t even miss having real meat. Their plant protein meat-substitutes are excellently prepared and have the texture and flavor of their carnivore dish counterparts. They offered plant protein flavored and prepared like barbeque beef, fried chicken, or sautéed shrimp, just to name a few. Everything we ordered was so delicious I thought it would be easy to become vegan if every meal tasted that good.

Spring rolls, Beyond burger, chow mein, asada tacos. Delicious! If I served this to my family they wouldn’t know it’s all vegan. High quality ingredients, everything is fresh and made to order. I can say I was literally blown away by the taste and flavors. Will be coming back for sure!

House fried rice was INCREDIBLE- best I’ve ever had! Try it with the ponzu sauce at the table. I’m not a vegan and fried rice is one of my favorite foods, I eat it about once a week in Chinatown NYC. This is my new top 3 fried rice of all time. You will not regret ordering this!

Each Loving Hut is unique and I always order items that I can’t get at other establishments. So we got the tangy orange and fish tacos.
The tangy orange is supposed to resemble orange chicken but it was nothing at all like it. It’s all in the sauce to mimic that dish and quite disappointing. It had a very sweet thick consistency like cherry syrupiness. We got brown instead white rice and it came with a side of salad but no dressing.
I got fish tacos. It came on flour not corn and the flour tortilla was like store bought. It cracked the moment I picked it up. Also seemed old because it was chewy. It didn’t break when I bit down. The battered fish resembled the real thing but lacking sauce. Had lots of slaw and pico de gallo but barely any of the white cream sauce. Which made the whole thing bland and dry.
I didn’t think I would get full on two of the fish tacos and had ordered a side of steam mixed veggies. That box was a decent size and was probably the best meal out of all.
Overall, these two dishes were a flop. I wouldn’t order this again.
