Had a wonderful meal on new years day to also mark a special occasion for us, & boy are we glad that we chose there for the lasting memory.

It’s a gorgeous entry into the restaurant, very cute & pretty.

The service was impeccable & so friendly. The staff are warm & kind, couldn’t do enough for you. I prefer their style to the over the top formal approach as its more relaxed .

The food is perfectly cooked & the sides came with the grill, instead of us having to order them separately. I had the lamb chops & we received 4, most places its 3. It came with rice, sauce & nan. I also had dhal & poppadoms. The hone made chutney was incredible.

The mixed grill for 1 was so tender & also came with the extras. We ended up ordering way too much.

The vibe in the restaurant bar is great, warm & vibrant. We would happily come here again as its perfect food, service, ambience & value for money.

Thank you for a special night. Already recommended to my friends.

This used to be one of our favourite bars. Now a very trendy Indian restaurant making very good food. Some of the best I have eaten. Staff very attentive and friendly. Great selection of dishes. Plenty of seats and a conservatory if you fancy sitting in there. Very nice seats to sit in while eating. Not everywhere has that.

I have come to The Lansdowne Restaurant twice now. Both times, the food was beyond compare, the service was excellent, and the atmospheric was both warm and inviting but still made me feel like my meal was a special occasion. The owner somehow managed to remember that I preferred my Long Island iced tea with lemonade and made it perfectly. My server, Wilma, was helpful in ordering less familiar dishes and patiently walked me through how Indians normally eat them so that my could experience the tastes and textures authentically. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough to capture how wonderfully delicious the food was or how kind the staff are.

Hands down best Indian I’ve ever had. The lamb was unbelievably tender. The sauces were so rich and tasty. The staff were super nice and helpful. The place was really comfy and just nice to be in. One thing I really liked is the great selection of beers and drinks. Usually Indian restaurants only offer bottles of either cobra or kingfisher but this place had loads of options on tap.
Pretty reasonably priced too but honestly so so good and tasty. We’ll definitely be back when we’re in Glasgow next.

Went here with my Wife on a deal, food was good but fixed menu for deal was extremely limited.
Only a choice of 3 starters, 3 mains and boiled rice and plain naan for a side dish.
Very little atmosphere and you had a feeling of you were treated second class because you were on a deal.
Have been to other Mother India venues and this is definitely my least favourite
Deal was just Ok for the price paid but had much better deals in other Indian restaurants in Glasgow etc.

We were there to celebrate 16th Birthday. Absolutely Scrumptious food. Delectable service and great ambience. A perfect concoction gor a great evening spent with friends.
The cherry blossom tree in the restaurant serves as a wonderful backdrop for taking memorable photos. Would just have preferred a location away from tables, as it was a little awkward to go and stand by the tree with people sat both sides of the tree. Nonetheless, I will definitely recommend this place. It’s like finding a precious gem hidden away, as it’s elegance is not so visible from outside, but once you step in, the place will Wow! you ❤️

Food was really tasty. We got there just before the kitchen was closing but the team were great and the dishes came out for a strong finish!
I got the garlic, chilli curry which was rich with flavor, a garlic naan and a pilau rice which was cooked so well with lovely mild spicing running through it.

Shout out to the staff who were really welcoming as we got there just as they were about to stop service.
