Great new bagel spot in town, prices are reasonable as well – around the same or even a little bit cheaper than the rest. Service was super quick & friendly and they have booth seating inside, though the seats can sometimes be full in the busy mornings.
I love the variety of options available and how clean, brightly lit the place is. I got bacon egg (2 eggs – I forgot to specify and the guy behind the counter just picked 2 for me lol) and cheese poppy seed bagel for $8.94 after tax.
Will be supporting this new business again in the future 🙂

I brought my friends here a few weeks ago and we all had a delicious lunch. The cream of mushroom soup was out of this world and our toasted bagels with different toppings were fresh and SO good. Everyone there was so nice.
Today, I was thinking about what I wanted for lunch and thought I’d try one of their chopped salads. A lovely young lady made a custom salad for me with everything I wanted in it. I have not had such a delicious salad in a long time. I will definitely be going back for another. The best part was, I was actually longing for a toasted bialy, but decided I would just get the salad. Imagine my surprise and pleasure when she told me that my salad came with a free bagel! I got to have my salad and eat my bialy, too! Actually the salad was so big I had half of it with half a bialy for lunch and then finished the salad and the other half for dinner! Definitely worth the price for two meals!
They have so many different offerings, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and of course their fresh, delicious bagels. They also offer lots of amazing desserts. I recommend Bagel Chalet highly and I will be back soon.

I have been on the lookout for a decent egg sandwich on a bagel and for some reason, it seems to become harder to find a good one these days , I found this bagel chalet unexpectedly when stopping at another shop in great neck Plaza and decided to go in and get eggs on a toasted egg everything bagel with bacon , tomato and ketchup… I have not had an egg sandwich as good as this one in quite a while. The egg everything bagel was delicious they lightly toasted it exactly as I asked. Everything went perfect, they followed my order to a T. I will absolutely be back to this bagel chalet when I am out here for work again. The service was pretty quick and they were decently busy. All of the staff was really nice. Prices are honestly very reasonable.

The bagels here are insanely delicious. Granted, I’m mostly ordering an everything with butter, but it is so good. The staff could not be more friendly, and they take your order right away. I’ve been working in this area almost 8 years and had to deal with the other local bagel store. You would think for this area they would have the best bagels, and nicer staff. Nope!. You go in there and can be the only person at the counter and it will be 10 minutes before they acknowledge you. Then the bagels are poor at best. I’m so thankful Bagel Chalet set up shop here. I’m having my everything with butter and a Snapple right now. That’s the only thing, their Snapple selection is less than most bagel places. That’s a minor nit pick. I will never ever go to the other place again. And I’m sure they’ve seen a decline in business. Maybe they should hire more attentive staff and improve their food. Settle on their prices too. It was always a different price each time you went in.
