Rooted in family, our name comes from an old family favorite joke told by Great-Grandfather, Graham Horlander. Ever wonder: What’s a Henway? …. about five pounds! Seasonality and sense of place are our focus. My husband and I came across the great place while drive around the beautiful countryside. It just so happened to be on a Sunday, which is bingo day! We felt welcome from the moment we walked in the doors. We had our puppy with us and they welcomed our puppy as much as they did us. They have a great variety of ciders! We tried many of them. My favorite was Sangria and my husband’s favorite was Maple Bourbon. We had a blast playing bingo. We had such a great time, we ended up going back the next week. Needless to say, we will be back every time we are in the area! A big shoutout to Elle and Amy! Thanks for finding the growler tops for us so that we can take some home! ❤️ If you’re a cider fan, I would recommend considering one of their memberships. The perks are awesome! I know we are glad to be new members of the flock!

Henway Cider is an absolute gem in Loudoun County.
The property is gorgeous—though honestly, all of Bluemont is—and the location couldn’t be better. It’s right next door to Great Country Farms, making it a perfect stop for a couple of drinks before (or after) some family-friendly activities.
We met my brother, his wife, and my niece here, and it was a hit across the board. My niece loved meeting Santa, the food was great, and the cider was fantastic. Henway really nails that cozy, fall-like atmosphere year-round, and I genuinely enjoy the variety and creativity across their cider lineup—there’s something for everyone. Also, the cider donuts are a must, must, MUST.
They also do a great job with events and festivals, with plenty to see, do, and taste, which makes it easy to linger longer than planned.
If you’re a cider fan, I’d highly recommend considering one of their memberships. The perks are solid—free samplers every visit, free growlers each quarter, and discounts—not just here, but also at their sister properties Bluemont Vineyards and Dirt Farm Brewery.
Overall, Henway Cider is a beautiful, welcoming spot that works just as well for a relaxed adult outing as it does for a family day in Bluemont. Highly recommended.

Tried out Henway Cider with my husband and we were seriously impressed! The flavor selection is so unique — there’s something for everyone, whether you like sweet, tart, or something a little unexpected. My personal favorite was the sangria with a splash of the vanilla cranberry cider — such a perfect combo and super refreshing. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. So happy to finally have a great cider place close to home. We’ll definitely be back!

Fall cider flavors. Let me tell ya: Mix cider donut, pumpkin, Bourbon together! So good. Blueberry lavender is also a fantastic flavor. But really, everything is good. And they’re kind, wonderful people. For food, we didn’t get much, but their queso is really good. We got it with a pretzel. Thank you having us (all 6 of us)!!!

Amy is wonderful and so welcoming. We have done Breakfast with Santa for 3 yrs now in a row and it keeps getting better. The food is good and you have to get a box or two of apple cider donuts when you’re here! Great spot for the kids too.

Great cider, great service, great atmosphere! All of the ciders are delicious and the prices aren’t bad at all. We enjoyed the nachos and pulled pork sandwich for lunch. On Sundays from 2-4, they host bingo and have great prizes! (Coming from the winner of a $25 gift card!). Amy was a great host, it was a lot of fun! We will definitely be back!!

I went to Henway after my race on Saturday and oh my gosh what an amazing tucked away spot! I’m a huge cider fan and the ciders here are well balanced not too sweet and full of amazing and unique flavors! I had a wonderful time chatting with Amy and really hoping they start hosting monthly speed puzzle nights so I can come back again and again!

This place is a super fun day out with the family. The farm has animals and tons of adventure play areas for kids. Lots of mazes for all. The corn maze is impressive. Fruit and flower picking throughout the year. Hang out at the family friendly cider house. Order some flights of cider! It’s really fun to try many flavors and they are healthy pours.
