La Marea Cafe is a coastal California cafe featuring specialty espresso drinks served alongside sourdough bagels, pastry and other breakfast fare plus pizzas, salads and seasonal specials from Jayne Dough. Breakfast items are available all day and our sourdough pan pizzas (available by the slice or whole) are served 11AM-2PM. We currently have very limited seating, but you can take your food & drink to the beach a few blocks away where there are many benches/seating options! We also do not have a restroom, however there are 2 public restrooms within a couple minutes walk.

Wow what an adorable little gem! I ordered the Jalapeno Cheddar Breakfast Bagel and omg, this just might have been the best bagel I’ve ever had. I’ve had Jersey & NY bagels but this really stood out. It was so incredibly chewy and soft in the middle and perfectly crisp on the outside. The flavor of the melted cheddar, pops of jalapeno and a subtle tang from the sourdough were incredible. The staff were very friendly & my food came out rather fast given the crowd. Couldn’t recommend this place enough if you’re in the area!

Run, don’t walk to La Marea! I had been following them on social media for a while, drooling at every post. I have been waiting to get my butt there and finally did today and let me tell you, it was worth the wait! I ordered the farmers market bagel and every bite was a symphony in my mouth. After the first bite, I needed to take a minute for myself and close my eyes. I can’t explain to you how delicious my bagels was. I also got it very yummy golden milk from the coffee stand inside. I can’t wait to take my husband here so we can try the pizzas next! I am honestly counting down the minutes until that happens!

As a local, I always walk pass La Marea. Yesterday, we stopped in for some pizza and it was so good. The staff are so nice and we will make this a regular place for us now. 10 stars!!!!!

The BEST oat chai I’ve ever had (every week) Vincent is a gem and such a kind coffee genius with his Syllable coffee. Jane and all the great folks slinging bagels, pizza, salad, cookies, pastries, and THE BEST SOUP EVER, are not just nourishing our bodies but our souls.
