My four friends and I met for dinner and to catch up. I was impressed with the cleanliness, to the service, and the food. We had an assortment of seafood and steaks and all five were happy with the flavorful, fresh, delicious orders. We were there on a Thursday, so we weren’t rushed at all- super easy going, but attentive staff. My one friend said her steak was the best of her lifetime! Thanks to the chef and all of the staff for a welcome new experience in downtown Clarksburg! We’ll be back!

An absolute dining pleasure. Everything was perfect from our greeting by the hostess to meeting the manager, who walked around and visiting every table. This is what I would consider an upscale restaurant hidden within Clarksburg WV.
The food was spectacular. The Chef brought us the steaks that we had ordered prior to cooking, ensuring that the cuts were what each of us desired and to the way that we desired it to be cooked.
It was SUPERB. Do yourself a favor and try the “Aquarium Lounge” for lunch or dinner. You will love the treatment that the upscale restaurant offers. You will not be disappointed.

We just love this place! So thankful it is located so close to where we live. We go as often as possible and love it every time. Everything we have tried has been excellent, especially the special potato crusted Salmon, to die for! Blackberry cobbler the best ever. Mixed vegetables and creamed spinach are mouth watering. Filet Mignon, perfectly seasoned. The staff is just amazing, so friendly and helpful. They make you feel like part of the family. Brandon was our waiter our first visit, he is just great and we have fallen in love with him. And Devan, he is just the cutest thing ever and always makes me smile and laugh when I come. And he fixes me his specialty margarita no matter how busy they are. I bring my sister and her son from out of town each time they come and they love it as much as I do. Can not say enough good!!!! I attended an event in Clarksburg tonight and stopped over for a few drinks following. My friend and I were immediately greeted by the owner Jon, and allowed to sit where we wanted. We chose the bar. The drink selection was wonderful and the menu was a wonderful tribute to Italian heritage in our community. oh and the fresh seafood selection! wow! The bartender was very attentive and the drinks excellent!. One of the best Long Islands I’ve had! Wine selection was also excellent, and I enjoyed a Reisling. Sadly, I didn’t anticipate coming here tonight so I ate elsewhere prior, so it was drinks only for me. My friend however had the stuffed peppers appetizer which came with its own loaf of bread and it was an absolutely beautiful presentation! The ambiance was dim lighting and very relaxed and the staff and fellow persons at the bar were so nice. I took a to-go menu as I will be back. Thank you Aquarium, for making your way back to our town! You will surely be part of the revitalization and I’ll be back soon! Excellent experience.

The food was the very best! Our server was great ,Devin is knowledgeable about the menu and the wine selection! The owner however was a little snobbish our group thought maybe she had a bad day. Definitely will eat there again!

I ordered a ribeye steak with a side of scalloped potatoes and a side salad. The steak itself was very tender and wasn’t bad season wise but the potatoes could’ve been better. It could’ve used a little more salt. Overall the meal was overpriced. If I’m going to pay $35 for a steak, it better be the best steak I’ve ever had.

Update to my review. I rated a 4 star only because 5 is reserved for perfection. The aquarium has been a fav for many years. As I read some of some the other reviews , although good reviews , I don’t don’t understand this negative attitude in regards to price. Quality food and service is a commodity. I appreciate your restaurant. I happily pay for good food and service. Thanks for your service.

Have been to both locations – Fairmont and Clarksburg. Filet was cooked perfectly med-rare; salmon was firm, moist and flavorful; half-shell oysters were as fresh as I’ve ever tasted this far inland. On one occasion, the chef personally came to our table as a courtesy – she answered my foodie-inspired questions, even explaining how and where they get some of their fresh ingredients. They’ve definitely earned my repeat patronage. A+
