We stopped for lunch at the Lakeside Sports Grill inside the casino in Pahrump and were seated right away, which was appreciated. The biggest issue from the start was the smoke. The dining room was very smoky, and by the time we left our clothes smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which really took away from the experience. That’s something worth knowing ahead of time if you’re sensitive to smoke or hoping for a more comfortable sit-down meal.
Our host was friendly and helpful, and service overall was fine. I ordered an iced tea, but it had an odd taste and I couldn’t drink it. I switched to soda water with lemon and unfortunately had the same issue, so I ended up skipping beverages altogether. For food, I ordered the patty melt with tots. The meal came out quickly. The patty melt, shown in the photo, was about what you’d expect from casino diner food—nothing bad, but nothing memorable either. The tots were actually pretty good and probably the best part of the plate.
Overall, this felt like a very typical casino restaurant experience. The service was friendly and the food was acceptable, but the smoky environment and drink quality were definite downsides. This is probably fine if you’re already in the casino and just need a quick bite, but if you’re looking for a comfortable lunch spot or good food in Pahrump, there are better options elsewhere—especially if you want to avoid cigarette smoke.

Wish this was better but in reality bar food , not great service . 3.9 rating and I can see why ….. the hostess was not friendly the food was average … had fish tacos that were over done and not battered as she said they were . Onions rings good , but in general bar food . The French dip was delicious but very little meat and five onions rings . Fries were good but just a few as well

Usually the food is really good and filling cooked well and a good price but lately the quality of food went from good to bad to horrible I hope I can come back again next time to better quality food as it is a nice hangout spot for me my friends and family

Absolutely amazing, delicious prime rib at a fantastic price of $25. I ordered mine medium rare, and it was just right! My husband got his end cut which he always enjoys.
Our waiter was right there and on top of things for us, and all the other tables that he was waiting on. The best server that we have had there, and actually one of the very best in Pahrump. I’m surprised that he isn’t working/serving in a high end restaurant with his skills!☺️
Oh, I forgot to add that we both enjoyed having squash as the vegetable also. Perhaps they now have a true chef because the food was prepared so well!!!♥️
