I always enjoy Smokin’ Jalapeño. I was excited to see this location open and that they offer dining inside or outside.
The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated.
The staff was friendly and efficient.
The fried shrimp tacos were delicious as always.
My husband loved his burrito.
They have a stocked bar. I’d recommend the Cloverdale Rush. It was fantastic. (I forgot to get a picture)
I love that they have daily specials and kids can eat free on Thursdays with the purchase of an entree.
My only “complaint” is not a complaint, just a suggestion. I’d like to see them offer regular sized napkins instead of the cocktail napkins. This was my first time visiting, so they may have just been out of the regular sized ones.
Regardless of the napkins, we will definitely be back!
P.S. When I was leaving I noticed they have a drive thru!

I wish I could give 10 stars. Our server was beyond amazing, I wish I could remember her name! The food was so so good like so much better than I ever could have imagined. So fresh and tasty I absolutely love this place, recommend it and will definitely be back!

Rookies….My husband and I tried it for the first time as a late Valentine’s Day date.
Definitely named appropriate!! If you don’t like spicy, don’t go. Pretty much everything has a variety of “kick”.
Maggie, our waitress, was awesome! She helped us with explaining something on the menu. She kept a check on us and made sure our drinks were filled. She was more than one person…. running her legs off.
We really liked the food! Fresh, taste, and amount of food were all really good. The down side was it took a while to get our food. So if you don’t have time to wait, I’d recommend ordering ahead.
We couldn’t quite figure out if it was “fast food” or restaurant style. They had a few TVs and a bar counter(which we don’t do).
Family friendly. Good location for us, Cloverdale Rd. Most of the staff was very welcoming.

The food was good. The last time I went was Taco Tuesday, which means you can buy one of their signature taco’s, and get a second of equal, or lesser value, free, which is what I took advantage of. In this case, I took these items home. Otherwise, the decor and atmosphere is subtle, nice and relaxing.
I ate at the restaurant in Cloverdale, and yes I would recommend it……. But, be very careful going in, and especially, coming out. There is a step at the door, and trust me, it you forget about it, while leaving, and miss the step, well, take my word for it, you will remember real quick lol

I’ve eaten here several times. The food and service are always good and consistent. One of the best things here is the chips and salsa. The chips are made fresh in-house and are warm and crisp. The portion sizes are adequate for the price. The service is quick and the place is always clean. It’s worth checking out, especially for the chips!

Started off with a $10 house margarita. It had a weird taste, the waitress stated the tequila is a well brand that I’ve never heard of and that they use margarita mix for all of their drinks. The mix may have went bad. $10 for a tiny glass with well tequila was a bit much. It was so bad, we sent it back. They charge for chips and salsa. Ordered the Queso dip, which was turned out to be the best thing we ordered. I ordered the fish tacos, which was one overdone, long fish stick with slaw and spicy mayo. My partner ordered the pulled pork tacos which tasted like pre-made BBQ mix that you get at Walmart. When we mentioned how bad everything tasted to our waitress, she apologized and handed us our bill. Definitely will not be back.

Worst food ever! Went to Cloverdale Road restaurant on New Years Eve at 9:15pm to dine inside. Server told us some beer was unavailable. We ordered entrees- chicken bowl, chicken tenders and vegetables nachos. Appetizers we ordered nachos asked for spicy sauce but not available. Cheese dip was watery and they gave a dip that was like old oil to dip chips! The bowl supposed to be made with chicken but no chicken. Told server she said on she must have forgot. The food didn’t look appetizing. Rice must have been cooked in the morning tasted stale and all stuck together. Chicken tenders were overcooked very brown in color and tasted burnt and very oily. Nachos was poor again with stale rice. What we ordered such as fresh and grilled jalapeños on bowl and nachos didn’t add had to ask for some.
It seemed like the staff didn’t care about the customers and quality of food. Told server that the food is terrible and poor quality. She didn’t care and not even apologize. There was only four of us in the restaurant then later a couple came in. Each dish we ate only eat quarter of food. Wasted 75% of food due to lack of quality, taste and requested items.
We wasted money and my friend even tipped them. Will never go to this restaurant. Need to listen to customers and take care of them.

I decided that I’d give the new smoking jalapeño a go the other day. As I walked in I was greeted by staff immediately. As I sat down and was given a menu with what I noticed was several new items compared to the other two. The build your own burrito bowl was great! Lots of good options for toppings. I highly recommend check them out!

We are so happy to have found the holy grail of Mexican food where the chips, dips, and food are all great! From the thin, curly, salty, and warm chips to the delicious and well seasoned salsa and queso, all the way to the best quesadillas and tacos I’ve had in a long time, we were so impressed! The service was friendly and helpful to top it off! We visit family in the area about 4 times per year, and rest assured we will be here during those visits.

Came in to work this morning expecting to obtain my usual griddle and hashbrown from the fast food restaurant across the street. Was VERY surprised when I came in to my co-workers saying that this place was bringing breakfast for us, which I didn’t even know they had. The woman who brought us a breakfast casserole, breakfast tacos, and these fried sausage links was super sweet and was here before out lobby even opened! Seems like a place I will be spending a lot of time at since I do not live far away!
