One of the most famous Hawaiian cookies straight from Kauai!

Not only can you get some souvenirs for you and you family, but get to order authentic island food. I wasn’t hungry so I didn’t get to try the food. But that is on my bucket list! I did however grab some cookies to bring home.

The staff is so nice and it feels like a neighborhood bakery / eatery.

Kauai Kookie is such a charming spot! The lady who served us was incredibly sweet and kind, she made us feel so welcome. The food was delicious and the service made it even better. A must-visit!

Food is so so and takes a bit to get it to you. We were the first people in the place for breakfast in the morning and it was about 20 minutes till our food came in. The portion size is big, we ordered the pancake breakfast any we could have split it between us. They got lots of grab and go stuff too.

Such a great place! We thought it might be a tourist trap with the name but it was quite the opposite.

+ Perfect breakfast stop for us, staying in Poipu and on our way to Waimea Canyon. Fueled up and grabbed musubis for the hike.
+ Great portion sizing, super comfort food, served piping hot
+ Friendly service, lots of space, well priced
– Food did take a while but nothing out of the ordinary on the island

Lots of locals, which I think is a good measure of the food!

What an amazing surprise this place was. The Korean fried Chicken was awesome.
The vegetable stir fry was too.
But the big winner was the chocolate brownie with macadamia nuts.
Yum Yum Yum

We arrived at 1:30 PM on a weekday and found ourselves as the only customers in the restaurant. After placing our order, we waited 30 minutes for our meals, which, unfortunately, didn’t meet expectations. They tasted more like microwavable food than freshly prepared dishes.

The worst food and sevice that we encountered on the island! There was one person working, very rude, hard to understand. He also did the food prep. We ordered a poke bowl and a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. The poke was on a plate with a bit of mayo, no bowl, cucumber, etc. I ordered it with greens. The sandwich was one slice of ham and cheese, ordered on wheat, it was white bread. The side salad was wilted with italian(?) dressing, not ranch, as ordered. The bathroom, outside was disgusting. This review was edited, per the owners request fir details.

One of the nicest breakfast places I’ve been to on the island so far. Staff is incredibly helpful and gave us a lot of different places we should go check out

Really neat shop. You can grab cookies and treats as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a small gift shop with normal island favorite like coffee and hot sauce with a few staples like flower and ketchup.
They have a wide selection of breakfast from burritos to scrambles to pastures and loco Moco. They means are on TV screens and seem to change day to day.
They make a lot of pies, they look amazing.
They have beer here.

Lots of ono local food at great prices with daily specials. My favorites there are their loco moco and their roast pork plate. Their tossed green salad is served with some papaya dressing, always gotta have that with the plate.
