They make all their food fresh, papri for the chaat, they make inhouse.
It took some time to get the food ready, but i am satisfied that food was made fresh.
The taste was authentic, i could confidently say that their checking Karhai was top notch.
I highly recommend all those who want to have a nice time with family and enjoy the authentic Palistani cuisine.
I’ve eaten Pakistani food across Toronto, Windsor, and throughout Michigan, and their karhai genuinely stands above the rest. The flavors are bold and fresh, the tomatoes taste like they were chopped minutes before hitting the pan, and the spice balance is exactly what you want when you’re craving real, homestyle desi cooking.
On top of that, the portions are generous, the prices are refreshingly affordable, and nothing feels heavy or overly oily, just clean, vibrant flavor in every bite. Tastes like home
They lack welcoming gesture. There is an uncle wearing glassses with white beard: he is very extrovert and rarely smiles. Without making a judgement on from where you are actually, they think you are from Pakistan/India and start talking in urdu/hindi.
We orderd Halfway Chickena Karahi ($19.99), the amount was less than that of 1st time we tried, and they served mostly wings part of chicken and cooking was not up to the mark compared to the 1st day we tried!!! We ordered gazar (Carrot) halwa, the server said that he needs to check if available and said they will make it and serve. When we were served the halwa, I found it is not freshly made, but they took time defrost it and then put in woven to warm and served. I think they don’t make it in house but buy readymade as frozen!!!! It is deceiving!!!! I saw a video of aunty of the restaurant that showing samusa frying and claiming “ye frozen nehi he”. I wonder why did they deceive serving frozen halwa!!
While I was waiting for food, I found that a lady was waiting for takeout, she was surprised seeing the amount chicken karahi in a small bown spending without tax $12.99!!! Really, their price is little high, but quality of the food-they need to improve.
In summary, still they need work on to get a good rating!!!
