My parents and I usually order samosas from Sunlight and they are amazing. They have the right amount of spices and filling. Today I ordered garlic naan and butter chicken, and it was perfect. The naan was so soft, fluffy, and buttery. The butter chicken was spicy like I had requested it. Butter chicken also has a great chicken to sauce ratio. Would recommend this place, and will be going again!

I ordered naan for our Christmas dinner for our church in Ceres Ca and this is what we received. This is just a few of them, the whole tray was like this. And when I called them to let them know about this, they put me on hold and never returned. And I called them several times after that and they wouldn’t answer. Don’t order anything from here. Spend your money somewhere else.

The driver said “yeah the driver is on his way”. So I waited patiently. Nothing. Called again. I was told it wasn’t my food that left the restaurant (never asked me for my name in the first call). Then the man said “we’re busy. You can cancel your order”. Who talks to customers this way?
I ordered my food at 16:30 and it’s 17:59 and my food nowhere to be found. Worst customer service ever to say the least. I come to Modesto a lot for work and now they lost a customer for life!
If you’re expecting good customer service you ain’t finding it here. What a shame.
Edit: got my food at 18:10. COLD and uncooked chicken with someone’s hair. Nasty place!!

I order naan from here occasionally and everytime a few are burnt. But this time half of my order was burnt. I called them to raise the issue and they hung up on me and stopped answering my calls afterwards. Horrible customer service.

Absolutely a disgrace!! They served me food that was sour and had gone bad. I complained about the food. At first, they questioned my honesty and an hour later they reheated the same spoiled food and served it to me. I complained once again and they offered no explanation or refund.

If I could give this joke of a restaurant 0 stars I would. The food was AWFUL. The woman working the front refuses to give you your food unless you shower physical proof that you placed the order. The food I received was flavorless and tasted old.

I had such a great visit at this restaurant! I was originally referred to their restaurant by a family friend who bought a box of samosas for takeout. So I had to come by and try it for myself! I ordered the butter chicken with a side of garlic naan and it was amazing!! Food was fresh, perfect temperature, and amazing flavor. You can tell they care about their guests and their dining experience. I loved eating here and will be coming back soon!

Ordered door dash from this place since it was 4.7 stars on DD. Got the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, rice and garlic naan… Everything was going well until I found a mini cockroach in the butter chicken (see picture) I know it wasn’t cheap, but I didn’t think they’d throw the extra protein in for free. Very generous.

Extremely disappointed with this order.
I ordered gol gappa for dine-out, but the pani and puris were delivered together in a single box, making it completely soggy and inedible. When I called, the response was simply that “this is how pani poori is served,” which is unacceptable.
The wraps were equally disappointing — the roti was stale, cold, and not even heated properly. Overall, a terrible experience. I will not be ordering from here again.
