My spouse and I have made this a restaurant we frequent. The rare beef pho is what we usually get and it is delicious. The broth is just right, with a savoury beef flavour that isn’t too salty or lacking any flavour. I have recently tried their spicy chicken, and pineapple on plain rice with vegetables and it exceeded my expectations. The chicken had a slight kick to it but not too spicy at all. I recommend it if you’re fine with mild spice and not looking for something over the top. I often get their fresh rolls with shrimp as well and they are the epitome of fresh. I also highly recommend their milk tea, every flavour that I have tried has been spectacular, the strawberry with tapioca is my favourite. Their tapioca is perfect as well, not too mushy not too firm, right in the sweet spot that tapioca should be. The prices are very reasonable as well. If you’re looking for a budget friendly meal that will fill you up and leave you satisfied I suggest you try Mekong.

Unfortunately disappointing experience. I came in for a good bowl of pho at around 7pm, ended up waiting around 40 minutes for just the pho. I found the broth to be lacking flavour and almost tasted watered down. Most likely wont come back.

We ordered Mekong last night! We got the spring rolls, chicken pho, lemongrass beef vermicelli , and chicken vermicelli. Spring rolls were really good as were the vermicelli. Our food was still nice and hot by the time it was delivered, and delivered pretty fast. The chicken pho broth was delicious, but I wish there was more chicken – there were only 3 or 4 thin slices…..But overall, very good!!

Pho is the perfect comfort food, especially as it’s getting colder. The food is all well priced and there’s a big variety on the menu. The pho was really good! The soup wasn’t too oily but still very flavourful, and the noodles had a nice texture. There were generous portions of meat and the beef was tender. The restaurant is very spacious and cozy!

REALLY GOOD FOOD! I got the fried rice with veggies and egg (no. 34). It was so good. The food took a little while but it was all worth it in the end. Very big portions, but I ate it all as it was so good

As a Vietnamese, I was quite disappointed with the food here. They did not use the right type of rice noodles for both the fresh rolls (the right type would help bond the noodles better and feel less wet) and in the pho bowl. It is also very customary for restaurants to offer a plate of beansprout and basil (neither was offered and they mix in the beansprout directly making other soggy). The staff was attentive when you show up and pleasant but didn’t really try (e.g., confirm what type of broth you want for Pho with tofu).

Every time I passed by on the street is always seems busy inside. However, it’s not as good as it seems.
Firstly, it took around 35 minutes of waiting after ordering to get a few bowls of pho, which isn’t ideal. Once we got the pho, despite the bowl appearing to be large, the actual food portions is rather small for the price. A large bowl is about $14. Usually for pho, they’d bring out the bean sprouts separately, but not here. It’s in the bowl already. The taste is what you would expect, not anything special but not bad either.
The service is fine.
The restaurant itself is medium-sized with basic furnishings.
