We were looking for a place to grab a bite to eat, and Mexican food sounded good. My husband found Las Cazuelas somehow and that it had good reviews, so we went and I’m so glad we did!
The place was almost empty (2 other tables full on a Friday evening in 7 o’clock hour), so it made me wonder if what my husband read in reviews was true or not. And I’m happy to say every bite was delicious, and we were not steered wrong!
We were greeted and sat promptly, given a basket of chips with salsa, I was able to sample a tamarind margarita to help me decide on drink choice (the sample cup had the rim flavored so I could experience it exactly as served!), and once our food order was taken, time from order to hot plates placed on the table was exactly what it should be.
I ordered chicken enchiladas with verde sauce, and my husband ordered a California burrito. Both were served with rice and beans. Every bite was hot, tasty, and filling!
The tamarind margarita had a rim of tajin seasoning or similar and complemented the tamarind flavor well (my first time having a tamarind flavored margarita, and I would suggest this flavor if you’ve never had!)
While we were there, three other tables were sat including one with a young child and the couple was asked if they’d like a high chair, which they said yes and were accommodated. There were also two food order pick-ups to deliver while we were there.
The atmosphere is festively decorated and very comfortable. In addition to booths, there are many tables and could accommodate a larger group. If not ordering alcoholic drinks, price per person would be $10-$20.
Our dinner experience at Las Cazuelas was excellent, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to you. Check it out—you won’t be disappointed!

This hidden gem truly touched my heart. My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Las Cazuelas for our Valentine’s Day celebration, and it was a warm and memorable experience. Every dish is homemade with care, and the service was genuinely attentive and kind. I look forward to returning soon. Their $2.95 Taco Tuesday is a lovely treat, and I highly recommend this authentic Mexican restaurant. There’s plenty of parking, making it convenient to visit. Do yourself a favor and come enjoy it I certainly did. This place in West Pines is special and feels like a comforting escape for authentic Mexican cuisine.

Wow! You have to make the effort to go eat at Las Cazuelas! We live around the corner and o can’t believe it took us this long to come in! The guacamole is out of this world and we tried a selection of the tacos! Shining stars on the taco menu are the chicken, chorizo, and the birria tacos! Gustabo was our server and we felt like we were taking to an old friend! What a lovely place! Definitely recommend 10/10! Also, try a Victoria Chelada!

Amazing Mexican spot located in the Shoppes of Silver Lake plaza. I had the Tacos Al Pastor and they were excellent. Also, the service was excellent Jennifer was super polite and attentive she made it a great experience.

I had the Enchiladas (mole). The mole had that homemade taste, and the dish was very filling, served with both beans and rice – I really enjoyed it. (Don’t miss the salsa they bring with the chips; it’s excellent). However, the best part of my experience was Gustavo’s service. He was so empathetic and ready to provide recommendations.

Hands down, one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to! From the food to the service, everything was a solid 10/10. Our server, Jose, was incredibly kind and made us feel right at home.
