All I can say it WOW! From the moment I walked in I was greeted with elegance and a raditating ambiance that is both inviting and comforting. They took our reservation with no issues (we were about 20 minutes late), very accomodating.
The starters we had were the A5 wagyu roll, the chilean sea bass and bumblebee roll; Everything was exceptional, the sushi, fresh and well portioned for 2. The chilean sea bass had an excellent sear and flavor (the purple yams are to die for) and the A5 wagyu roll melts in your mouth. I highly recommend. For entrees we had the tangerine duck and the oven roasted filet mignon…the duck and that tangerine sauce is unexplainably intense and flavorful, Im still thinking about it. The fm was cooked perfectly medium rare, the mash was well seasoned and creamy but overall the fm lacked that kick of flavor that i was expecting having the experience i had with the prior food.
I love the bar setting and the table decor, they also have a lovely koi fish pond near the entrance which adds to the level of elegance the restaurant radiates.
12/10 recommend, Im already planning my next visit here. Compliments to the owner, the chefs and waiters/waitresses. Exceptional quality and attention to detail!

Aja’s is a pretty good spot overall. The food was flavorful and portions were decent, and you can tell they put effort into what they serve. The atmosphere was nice and felt comfortable for dining in. I’d still come back to try more dishes and recommend giving it a try.

I’ve been coming to Aja for many years and always giving them business due to the amazing food they put out. I’ve given them great reviews in the past and I never thought I’d be sitting here writing a negative review of them.First I was originally told on the phone that we would get specific seating once asked and they did not honor that once arrived. It was disappointing but wasn’t going to let it ruin our Valentines Day. The server then offered to buy a one drink on the house, which was very kind. Then we had the hostess come over to us asking if we would like to be moved to a corner spot which was more private, we said yes please that would be great. Then the server came back and never moved us. Once again.. we let it go. Server told us that the sushi was going to take longer to come out than the ordered entree. We received our appetizers and the food was amazing as usual. Then we’re waiting and waiting. I received my sushi finally but it was strange because they said the sushi wouldn’t be out until after the entree since they were backed up. Time is going by and I was waiting to eat with my fiancé, it was taking so long he said just go ahead and eat. Server wasn’t checking in and we tried calling her over multiple times and felt ignored. Finally my fiancé got ahold of her and asked for the entree. It was brought out right away like it was sitting in the back of the kitchen under a heat lamp. He just asked for it to be wrapped up and to go since I already finished dinner. The server comes over with a complimentary mochi ice cream and I didn’t touch it yet because my fiancé was paying the bill. She asked if I liked it and I said yes. This is the part that threw me off the attitude and passive aggressive ways I received from this server was highly unprofessional. Overall love the food and always loved my experience with all the workers there. This girl was overall a bad egg to the business and made Aja look bad.

This was my first time visiting the restaurant and honestly I didn’t have the best experience with the service and was left disappointed. For starters we had a 5:30pm reservation and for some reason we were not put down on the reservation list-thankfully it was still early and they still were able to seat us. Once being seated, everything was fine-our order was taken and we were enjoying the peaceful restaurant atmosphere. We got our appetizers and then soup. Then the entrees came out, but the only 2/3 of us received our meals. I was the one that didn’t receive my meal, but I’m also a server so I was patience and being understanding-giving that I understand the restaurant business. 25 minutes later, without our serve coming to our table to even check to see if anything was okay-I still didn’t receive my food(which was a tempura sushi roll) I finally got my servers attention and told her I never received my meal, she said “okay” and walked away. Another 15 minutes went by and no sushi roll-she then came over and asked if she could take a finished plate, when then had to remind her that we were still waiting on the one sushi roll. She then left and came right back with it, I had to ask for spicy mayo(which I asked for while placing the order). Afterwards the server didn’t come back to check on us the rest of the meal-I had to then get her attention again to ask for the check, after waiting a while to receive the check or the server to check on us. We left the restaurant with no apology, compensation, not even “have a good night” or “thank you” from the server.
I enjoyed every other second of the restaurant, food, and environment. I am going to assume the server was new and in training-so I will definitely be visiting again to give this restaurant another tried, but I hope the manager takes this into consideration and attention. I was observing the other servers and they seemed to be attending their tables perfectly fine. So I would definitely recommend others to at least try out this amazing and cool restaurant environment, it is something different that you don’t see everyday.

For several years, I always drove past your establishment and kept saying that one of these days, I would finally go. Today was that day I stopped in, wow was I impressed! I will definitely return, everything was outstanding and especially the service! I love looking around the building and see how well kept everything is inside. On a freezing cold day, this is the spot to go! Definitely recommend this location by a long shot! Good job staff!
