We ordered fried pickles and two burgers with green beans. When our burgers were delivered, the waitress realized the pickles were never brought out. It was no big deal and we didn’t even mention that we hadn’t got them. We never said or asked but she volunteered to take them off the bill. My burger was extremely undercooked. I was hesitant to mention it since the fried pickles were already comped. I did finally ask our waitress if this was the normal cooking of the burgers and she said “no it’s not they’re usually cooked medium well”. No offer to remake or an apology for such an undercooked, inedible burger. The patty was thin, I have no idea how it could have been so undercooked. The green beans were very tasty. However, we were surprised when we got our bill that green beans were an extra $5.99 per plate. Fries and green beans were both $7.99 on the sides menu so I wouldn’t have guessed it would have been that much of a substitute up-charge. Brew Brothers was way overpriced for poorly cooked food.
We’ve never had a problem at Jack Binon’s, save your time and just go there for good food at the Casino.
My wife got the meatloaf platter. It was hearty with plenty of brussels sprouts. I got a Cuban. The sandwich was flavorful and filling. Everything you want in a sandwich. The fries were also really good. Crispy and properly seasoned.
The service was great as well. The front overseated our server. She had four tables along with an eight top. That didn’t slow her down.
Overall, I was impressed with this place and will be back again without question.
