My wife and I stopped in for fish and chips after hiking cape flattery in the rain. It’s the off season so there was only one local lady and the waitress in the building. It had a very cozy “walking into your grandma’s house” vibe. They were out of chowder to my dismay, but was suggested the Italian Sausage and cabbage soup and it was PHENOMENAL. We had coffee, fish and chips and good conversation. Definitely stop through and give them a try!

This place has the best clam chowder I have had so far. The owner’s mother was helping out at the cafe and was lovely and welcoming. Bonus points for a couple of very nice local regulars who told us about whales being spotted in the bay; we went and were amazed to see two whales at Cape Flattery nearby.
We would have loved to go back for breakfast the next morning but had to leave much earlier than their opening time.
Definitely recommend this little cafe and the view across the bay!

I’ve never made a google review, but this place warrants it. Tucked away little town, pretty, quiet. Place is rather unassuming but It’s the best fish and chips I’ve ever had and probably ever will have. Definitely worth a stop if you’re passing by.

We ordered the Western Burger with onion rings, clubhouse sandwich with fries and fish & chips. All the dishes were very large portions and delicious. The staff was really friendly. The wait could be a bit long during the rush hours, but overall it’s a nice place for lunch on our way to Cape Flattery.

Amazing little cafe on the water! Beautiful views and friendly service and the food is soooo good with huge portions! I especially loved the homemade clam chowder and the patty melt was delicious! Will definitely be back when we make it back up to this part of Washington.

Small, casual, and quaint cafe that was just what we needed in that moment! Fish and tartar sauce was so yummy. The server let us sub a salad for the chips part of the meal, and it was yummy too. Also had Sam Adams Oktoberfest in bottles.

DON’T COME AT NOON! We ordered at noon on a Sunday off the lunch menu we were given. It took us 45 minutes to get our food. We watched the people who entered in front of us eat, pay and leave and we still hadn’t been served When we asked, they said they had to close out breakfast. Sounds like that’s normal for the first lunch orders of the day. The greasy fish and chips weren’t worth the wait.

We were hoping to find some dinner after a visit to Cape Flattery and were lucky enough to find this gem. My club sandwich and homemade french fries were delicious. My wife had the fish, and it was delicious as well. The service was great. They also make a mean milkshake.

I just got home from a 22 day, 6,255 mile trip and this is the first thing I wanted to post. I had such a wonderful experience eating here (I knew it had good reviews, but it’s a very small town and I didn’t really know what to expect). Not only were the views of the bay incredible, the food was so delicious and perfectly prepared, and the people working there (and eating there) were interesting and friendly. I immediately felt welcome and at home. On the drive home (to Michigan), we talked about flying out to Seattle, driving up to Clallam, and eating there again before and after we visit Cape Flattery next spring. So, if you’re in the area, stop in and say hello to the owner’s mom.
