My friend and I stopped in after passing by and noticed there was an Indian restaurant in the area. Very good food and clean establishment. We were immediately seated and given menus. The servers are very quick to ask if you need anything or need more time. The food didn’t take too long to come out either. We had the chicken tikka, chicken chili mild, and samosa chaat. The chicken was so tender, tangy, and smoky, the chili had perfect sauce ratio and spice level, and the samosa chaat was very good with the tamarind sauce. I’d come here again!

The food is excellent and full of flavor. The butter chicken was definitely a standout rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. It paired perfectly with the garlic naan, which was fresh, soft, and had just the right amount of garlic. Everything tasted authentic and well prepared. If you’re in the mood for great Indian food, this place is definitely worth checking out.

We stopped by this small restaurant and had a pleasant experience. We ordered mutton paya soup, egg kothu parotta, and falooda. The soup was excellent, rich in flavor and well-prepared. The egg kothu parotta had a decent quantity good enough for 2 ppl to have but it didn’t have the authentic Indian taste we expected but was still decent. The falooda was good as well. The service was quick, and the prices were reasonable. Overall, a nice spot for a quick meal.

Walking into Kurunji felt like being transported straight to the heart of South India. Each dish reflected genuine authenticity—from the crisp, golden dosas to the flavorful sambar and vibrant chutneys served alongside. The idlis were light and airy, melting effortlessly in the mouth, while the vadas struck the perfect balance between a crunchy exterior and soft center. It’s evident that every dish is crafted with care and deep-rooted tradition. This place offers a truly memorable and authentic South Indian dining experience that I wholeheartedly recommend.

We are regular customers, but unfortunately the experience is getting worst. Prices have increased significantly, while food quality has gone downhill. Over the last 4–5 visits, we have been disappointed every time.

We ordered Hakka noodles, chilly chicken, and lamb korma, and the food tasted like reheated leftovers. It did not seem like fresh oil was used. We spent almost $90 including tip, but there was no value for money. The restaurant is no longer maintaining the quality it once had.

Absolutely delicious food – I had the chicken tikka masala and the takda dal and both were very hearty with big chunks of the good cuts of chicken for the tikka masala and perfect seasoning for the tadka dal. The service here was also excellent, very kind, good people! I will be back!

Awesome food! So my family and I love Indian food, but have only a few places to go and most of them are a bit of a drive. We showed up and it was full of Indian Americans, which says something about the quality of food. Definitely Family friendly. The food was fantastic! So flavorful, which is what I was hoping for. The servings are very good portions, basically two people could share a meal easily. There was a huge selection of dishes. The spiciest was perfect for my level which leaves your mouth, throat and lips with a nice warm radiant feeling afterwards. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. There were three of us (adults) and ordered 3 appetizers, 3 main courses and each of us chose a drink of some sort besides water. It came to a little over 100. And for the size of the dishes, even the appetizers, we all got to eat a full meal at home for the next evening. The staff was very nice and helpful. Did I say the food was really flavorful. I plan on going back during the week just for me myself and I to enjoy some more of this. Definitely a 5 star. And apparently they are moving over to a larger space just two doors down. I have found my happy for Indian food. Rock On!

My family took me here for dinner. It was a nice restaurant with about 10 tables. My parents where running late but the staff was still really patient before we ordered our main meals. We ordered the Gobi Manchurian and Masala Dosa for appetizers while we were waiting. Then for the main course we ordered chicken vindaloo, lamb vindaloo, chicken kothu paratha, vijayawada chicken biryani, chicken fried rice, chicken saag and a bread basket. All the food was amazing and the spices were well balanced. We had plenty of leftovers because all the dishes were a good size. We would definitely come back to this restaurant again.

I got take out from here a few days ago and he food was exceptional. I had some people I work with mention that they drive from Philly to come here to get authentic southern indian dishes and since I live close I had to give it a try – and it did not disappoint! I got the chicken biryani and it was phenomenal. Highly recommend trying it out if you’re in the area!

We have been visiting this place over two years and it is the go to Indian place for us
close to our house. Their Vijayawada special chicken biryani is truly the best biryani I had in town.9 out of 10 times taste of the biryani was on spot. We order their biryani at least once in a month for to go. The other item we liked is Chicken 555 . Their staff are very nice and accommodating. I definitely recommend
you to try their vijaywada special chicken biryani if you haven’t .
