3 is generous but food was good service was horrendous
We walked in, nobody greeted us. We waited a decent amount of time. When someone finally came to seat us we decided to sit at the bar — thinking that we’d have better, more attentive service. I felt the bar tender barely acknowledged us and paid more attention to other guests.
We ordered a drink and an 18″ pizza. We would have ordered more drinks if the bar tender and staff were nicer and more attentive.

Pizza is a little pricey but the large is huge. Wine house pizza wasn’t my favorite and all I could taste was goat cheese. The combination pizza was delicious. Excellent crust that holds up to cold day- later leftovers.

We have had our share of super pizza restaurants all over the world. Napoli, Sorrento, Roma, Toscana, Bangkok, Tokyo, Barcelona… North End is on my top 10. Light crispy crust. Not oily at all. Red sauce is really good.
We ordered our choice of mushroom, onion, prosciutto, arugula.
Place has a happening cool vibe. Locals certainly support it. Super busy and happening on a Sunday.

Giving it two stars because the food was pretty good but I’ve never had a crazier experience at a restaurant. After our waiter had stopped by our table twice for about a minute each time, he proceeded to lean over our table and confront us (a table of 4 girls) about how it was insulting we didn’t tip him more money. We sat to eat a salad that was $15 and tipped him $5…not sure if he never took a math class but that’s a 33% tip which is much more than he even deserved after taking 20 minutes to even come to our table to take our order. I’m not saying don’t come here because the food is good but just avoid the greedy meanie in a beanie.

Caution on takeout!
Same attention to detail is missed on takeout orders. My pizza dough was basically raw and the artichoke appetizer can with a half cup of dip and 12 pieces of bread – poor ratio.

The pizza was fantastic. No complaints about the service either. It was hard as a semi picky eater to find a regular pizza on the menu that didn’t have some crazy ingrediant. But i certainly would eat the Vince again. I’d probably give it 5 stars if it wasn’t quite so pricey. Was like 23 bucks for a small personal pizza. Bartender made one of the best damn old fashioned I’ve had around here, but again, little on the pricey side for what it is. The quality is absolutely there, no question. Great restaurant.

We asked for NO olives in the salad and none on our pizza. I guess they thought it would be funny to give us extra olives instead. The waitress didn’t offer any discount or ask to fix it. The service is usually slow. We do enjoy the pizza when they get it right.
