The restaurant was in a building like a house. I personally like the feel of this for the nostalgia of it. The food was decent but the options for lunch were limited for the sushi rolls compared to other places I’ve been to that have offered sushi lunches. They did have a lot of other dishes that were from the kitchen that I didnt try. Overall I wouldn’t personally go here if I crave sushi but I will try again for some other menu items.

I have dined in and ordered takeout a few times and have never been disappointed!
The sushi rolls are fresh, well-made, tasty, with my favorites being the Black Jack and Hot Girls rolls! The apps and entrees are also great, with the veggie/shrimp tempura and general tsos being my family’s go-to’s. Everything just tastes so fresh and well-seasoned. Also, I love topping off dinner with some yummy green tea ice cream.
The service and decor are also great! The interior is like a cute little beach house that gives this place such a cozy feeling. The staff is also very kind and attentive and we are never waiting for our food for too long.
Overall, highly recommend! This is my go-to local spot for sushi and Japanese/Asain fusion cuisine.

Upon approach we weren’t sure if this house was going to be fantastic or terrible, but it was fantastic!! we have been looking for a great tasting and reasonably priced sushi place and we have finally found it here! They had a great variety of both classic rolls and their special rolls. We will be back

Great sushi, but the non-sushi entrees I’ve gotten have been disappointing. The pineapple chicken was most recent. I got it take out and it didn’t come with rice, just the chicken and vegetables in sauce. The sauce is super thin and didn’t really taste like much, it was incredibly disappointing.
Prices for the sushi are great, but $15 for the pineapple chicken felt like a rip off. I wish I took a photo but I was so hungry, and had to change my tire on the way after I blew it out. So after a cold rainy miserable drive, I got home and the pineapple chicken being bland at best was icing on the cake of a bad night.
The spicy edamame isn’t salted, so that also was disappointing.
The hot girls roll is fantastic though, and so are other sushi items. It’s a shame that the other stuff is disappointing and has been multiple times. It’s especially disappointing because my fiancee loves sushi, and it hasn’t been agreeing with me lately so alternative options are welcome.
I wish I could search Google reviews to see what specific dishes people like here because I don’t always want sushi.

The most unassuming, hole-in-the-wall, yet excellent Japanese restaurant. Not the cleanest and nicest, establishment wise, but their food is just amazing. We love everything we ordered—blue roll, tokyo roll, red snapper, scallops, soft shell crab, shrimp fried rice and desserts. We will definitely be going back. Such a gem.

Twice I’ve gotten a large takeout order from here and it was perfect both times. Best sushi I’ve had in south Jersey. Their salmon avocado rolls are sublime, they give you a big chunk of fish in each one unlike some other places.

I have driven past this restaurant for years, not realizing that it really was open. I read reviews and decided that I had to try it out. My daughter and I met here for dinner. Everything was excellent from the moment we walked inside. We were greeted and seated in a timely fashion. Our server was attentive. Everything was delicious and fresh. We will definitely be returning here. It was worth the 30 minute drive.
