Went to Del’s Wings & Things today & was very impressed. Clean, informative atmosphere & Mr. Del was very welcoming & pleasant. Food was made to order & beyond delicious. First time here ordered fish and shrimp okra and cake .
The fish had an ocean like fishy taste I didn’t taste any seasoning just like an ocean fishy taste . Shrimp was ok could have been less breading on the shrimp. Okra was crunchy and pretty good . Fries were ok blah . Cake was just ok . Blah .

Just a little back story. I grew up on St.Clair Kims and Open Pitt were my go to chicken spots. So when I saw the pic with similar looking chicken wings I was delighted. Only 2 b disappointed, dissatisfied, regretful, displeased, vexed, and just simply unhappy. The skin and batter was beautifully brown, HOWEVER, the
chicken smelled burnt all while being “light skinned” (not cooked thoroughly) on thr inside. It was SO greasy I had to clear my throat multiple times after after 1 part if the whole wing. The Fries well they caused just as much disappointment as the chicken. Never going to say don’t try them out they’ve been open since 2016 but
maybe try them when you’re under the influence or if nothing else is open . The young who took my order was very nice!

I’ve been there twice. They are clean, polite and the food is ready when they say it will be. It’s good, hot/warm and presentation is appealing. I plan on trying other items on the menu. I’m glad it’s close to my job. I’ll be spreading the word.
