We were just passing through town and wanted some authentic Texas BBQ and we found the right place! After seeing multiple five star reviews, we decided this was the place for us. We went out of our way just a little bit and we were not disappointed. I had a giant baked potato with two meats, pulled pork and brisket. And my husband had the two meat combo with chicken and brisket. We left completely stuffed and very happy. The staff were friendly and the service was quick.

I saw this restaurant on my GPS as I was headed to the airport. Its right off the interstate so easy find. I ask for recommendations of what the cashier like and she recommended the smoked turkey and I chose the jalapeño sausage. Plate came with two sides and Texas toast. Fries were fresh and the used season salt after they were out of the fryer so if you don’t like salty fries, you may want to ask for that not to be added. Turkey was moist and I just added alittle of the original sauce and throughly enjoyed it. Sausage was also was also good and not to hot. Overall a great experience and would stop again on my way through.

Got the one meat plate. Got potato salad and mac n cheese. Mac n cheese was watery. Potato salad was full of crunchy uncooked potatoes. Sausage wasn’t very good either. The loud argument in the kitchen between two workers was the icing on the cake. Paid $20 for crappy food and service. I won’t be back.

My better half is a trained French Chef and we are total foodies. We cook at home 90% of the time but we try to eat out once a week. From fine dining to a hole in the wall, good food is good food. We are also service industry vets and appreciate experiences all around.
The “new to me” location is clean, friendly and the BBQ is really good! So good, you dont need the yummy Bbq sauce, but definitely try it. Our favs were the pulled pork, ribs and the jalapeño sausage. Brisket was yummy and moist. The sides were delish too! Tea is Texas’ beverage of choice and its fresh. Cost for a 3 meat plate w 2 sides, 2 meat plate w 2 sides, extra order of fried okra, TX toast and 2 large drinks – $43 and some change. I’m by-passing Hutchins for this humble gem! 9 out 10, only because I’m leaving room for the off chance I find a gem better than this! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Getchu some!

I came here with my husband several years ago and loved it. We recently moved to the area and was so excited this place was close by. Went in for dinner tonight and spent $65 on 1.5 lbs of meat and 3 sides. The price was fair; however, the food was not good. All the meat was cold. The pulled pork was covered in straight vinegar, which I have never experienced before. The brisket was tough and not moist at all. The Mac and cheese was watery. I enjoyed the French fries and their garlic toast. The girls that work there were very nice but the man in the back with the toothpick hanging out of his mouth just sort of scowled at us from the back. Very disappointing experience.

Always wanted to stop here and I’m glad I did. Went in hungry and ordered a half lb of brisket. Then a half lb of pulled pork and a half lb of jalapeño sausage. Also a pint of bbq beans. Came home hoping for the best and boy I was surprised. Absolutely wonderful can choose what I like most. Can’t wait to go back again. The gal at the counter was wonderful.

This was pretty darn good. All.the meat was very tender. The pulled pork required sauce, it was a little lean. Might have just been my portion. The pork ribs were tasty and.tender.
