Came for my first visit during Sunday brunch and had a wonderful experience. The breakfast burrito that I ordered was massive and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. Our server, who was so attentive but not overly so, said many jokingly refer to it as the Hannover Burrito. My friend ordered the ham, cheese, and red pepper quiche, which has such a hearty-yet-flaky crust it looks like a personal deep dish pizza. I took a taste and will definitely be back for a whole serving. Complimentary cinnamon donut holes with a chocolate sauce were served before our meals in lieu of the standard daytime chips and wow were they delicious as a dessert. Great experience, and the menu is so expansive I will need to come back multiple times to try everything that looks good!

We recently had a great dining experience at The Lazy Dog in Northbrook, IL. Our waitress Mary Carmen was excellent, very pleasant, and delightful; she went above & beyond to make our dinner experience very special, as she guided us through all the food & drink options on the menu. The food was delicious. We were celebrating 2 birthdays in our party of 4; Mary Carmen helped us with our low-key celebration with some very tasty desserts. I highly recommend The Lazy Dog in Northbrook for its great variety of food, wonderful ambiance, reasonable prices, and outstanding customer service (thanks again to Mary Carmen).

Lazy Dog is AWESOME! Dana brought The Align Wellness Center’s staff Mediterranean Chicken Bowls as a catered lunch today and it was so good. She set it all up for us, explained the food options, and had labels so we knew what was what! Dana was organized and supplied us with everything we needed to enjoy. The food was also delicious and hot, highly recommend for any company looking for a stress-free lunch option for their staff!

Had a fantastic evening with friends at Lazy Dog tonight. Dana, our server, went above and beyond to make the night special, and we greatly appreciated her effort. I also tried the Mediterranean bowl she recommended and it was perfect. The energy in the restaurant was vibrant, with families, friends, and colleagues all enjoying quality time together. Even on a busy night, the food was served quickly, and despite the lively atmosphere, we could clearly hear each other’s conversations—something that’s increasingly rare nowadays. We even had Dana (far left) take a picture with us, so next time you’re there, be sure to ask if she’s working!

We went to celebrate a family birthday and couldn’t have enjoyed a meal more. Hospitality is clearly important at Lazy Dog. The staff greeted us and seated us promptly. Our server, Debbie, was nothing short of amazing! She had great suggestions, was welcoming and attentive, and made us want to make plans to return. The food was served piping hot, tasted delicious and was reasonably priced. I’ve been to two other Lazy Dog restaurants, and this one is clearly the best!

The place was clean and had a fun vibe, lots of energy. There was good a mix of people there—families with kids, younger folks, couples; everyone seemed to be having a good time.
I got the pot roast sandwich, my wife had the fried chicken salad, and my daughter ordered the crunch tuna. All of it was really good. I also tried the “Bonita, Bonita” beer, which is quickly becoming a favorite.
We’ll definitely be back when it’s a bit warmer to hang out in the patio area (maybe sooner by the fire!)

The appetizers were the only good thing about this place, and my strawberry lemonade was decent. However, everything else was a huge disappointment. My Bison Burger had a burnt bun, and my boyfriend’s Lunch Burger was clearly a frozen patty, not fresh as they claimed. The prices were far too high for the low quality of food we received. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. The service was also slow, and the atmosphere was nothing special. It’s a shame because we had heard good things, but our experience was definitely not worth the money.

This was our first time to try Lazy Dog. My son had suggested it and I’m so glad he did. The food was amazing and there were sooo many choices! Our waiter Edel was just wonderful! He made us feel right at home. Rachel the manager even came over and welcomed us including giving us a free appetizer and a coupon for our next visit. If you are in the area you should definitely give them a try! We will be back the next time we are in town. Do yourself a favor and order the Tortilla soup! It is absolutely amazing!
