Chicken tenders are ok. All white meat, definitely not mechanically separated. Not sure if they are made in house but a little on the small side, a little tough, not that tender. Sweet and sour sauce is good. My friend had the steak and cheese with mushrooms and peppers. He gave the sub 3 stars. Seems like an ok place with ok food with average to high price depending on what’s ordered. I’ll skip this establishment next time I’m in the area.

When you ask for a grinder with light oil and get it doused to the point where the bread is soggy, this is the second time this has happened. Never had these issues under the old owners.

Nice small town place to get some really good pizza. The employees are working hard to get your food out hot and fast. The pizza was excellent from the perfect crust to the delicious selection of toppings. The onion rings were crispy hot and slightly sweet, very good appetizer. My only complaint and it’s a small one is the cheese sticks. The outside felt a little soggy and just didn’t have the typical taste I was looking for. However that is minor compared to everything else being very good.

Wow! I did not expect such FANTASTIC food from pretty much the only restaurant in such a small town. The staff was beyond friendly and again, the food was amazing. The chicken bacon ranch pizza is very tasty and not greasy or anything. My wife had the turkey sandwich and also was extremely satisfied. They nailed it. I’m shocked the place had so few visitors. If this were in a major city it would be packed everyday.

Village pizza was very tasty, we ordered a large veggie pizza and a veggie sub. Both food dishes were delishes. The place was a little busy, however it was clean and fast service. The pizza reminded me of a new York style pizza. I believe they mentioned the dough is made fresh daily and never frozen. The employees were very nice and sweet.

I’ve always loved Village! The newest owners are very great people everyone speaks highly of, and they kept the food just as delicious as it’s always been. They’ve made the place even more welcoming than it already was! So happy to have village in our little town!

I had a fantastic pastrami grinder with thick slices of meat and an abundance of letture, tomato, and onion and the perfect amount of cheese. The service is fast too!We will be stopping here again on our way through Newport.

This was the first time I visited Newport Village Pizza since it is under new ownership. The decor inside does not seem to have changed much. There were some changes in the menu. The pizza remained pretty good, but the Greek Salad was not as good. The $17 cost of a relatively small pizza seemed very high to me, but I haven’t eaten out much recently, so it may just be that all restaurant and groceries have increased in cost.

parts of the pizza tasted a bit raw but for the most part, the pizza was well cooked and the crust is crunchy with a good amount of warm dough in it. nice facility and conveniently located on main street. 30 minute detour from 89. employees are not required to wear masks. not very safe, although they do have screens in place at the register.
