Fast and reliable service. I really appreciate that someone can still provide a lunch meal for only $8 in this tough economy. I had the curry lunch dish. Its small, but its enough to fill you up. The food is always fresh and good.

Good Jamaican cuisine. Located in Silver Hill shopping center. The food is best for takeout. The red snapper is tasty and a good bargain, compared to other Jamaican restaurants in the area and the patties are decent. The quantity of food is good and you really could get two meals out of it. I like this place.

The food was great ,but workers need some customer service training..and need to taste most of the food, so when customer asked questions, you are able to give an honest answer. Some Americans is not used to spicy food or the level of spice that Caribbean people are used.
Overall restaurant was clean, food was great , but customer service need to be worked on.

I went to this restaurant and ordered a small brown stew chicken dinner. The lady was friendly but when she portioned out the chicken, she started counting each piece of “chicken” (which she said they can only give four pieces). I commented at how skimp the portion was compared to the amount of rice and veggies I received (mind you; she was about to give me way more rice but I told her no). I also asked for brown stew gravy on it and she was very skimp on that as well. When I got home and looked at the actual meat I received, it was 75% BONES. As you can see from this picture, I minced up the meat so you can see how much meat I actually received. For the amount of money I paid, I barely got my money’s worth. I’ve never been to a Caribbean restaurant that would count “chicken” and give me BONES. I called the restaurant right after I noticed this and they told me that the manager would refund me my money. It’s been a WEEK and I have not received a full refund. Not only was the food skimp, the quality of the brown stew chicken was subpar to what I have experienced before at other Jamaican restaurants.
I’m giving stars for the spinach patty and the Stallion drink.
I never received my refund. I’ve been calling every day and they keep telling me the manager either hasn’t arrived or “left out”.
UPDATE: I went back on 2/18/25, and I negotiated with a different lady to receive food in the equivalent of the brown stew chicken dinner. Thus, I got cornmeal porridge, a spinach patty and coco bread. I’m much satisfied. Thank you for working with me!
HOWEVER, please PLEASE work on the brown stew chicken. As a Jamaican, I was upset for sure..

I ordered oxtail dinner and curry chicken dinner. The curry chicken was mediocre, it tasted like curry powder and broth, nothing else, no pimento, no thyme, or scotch bonnet. My fiancé wanted the oxtails, and he took 2 bites, and was over it. It was extremely tough, and he only received 3 small pieces. We were very disappointed, and will never return, which is sad, because we live in the area.

A Flavor Explosion – Best Curry Chicken I’ve Had!
I had the pleasure of trying the curry chicken at Carribbean Superior, and wow, it exceeded all my expectations! The chicken was perfectly cooked—tender, juicy, and packed with rich, bold flavors. The curry sauce was absolutely delicious, with the perfect balance of spices that made each bite a true delight. It had just the right amount of heat, while the depth of flavor made it so comforting.
The dish was served with fluffy rice and peas, which paired wonderfully with the curry, and the plantains were the perfect sweet side to balance out the spiciness. The entire plate was satisfying and felt like a true Jamaican home-cooked meal.
If you’re looking for authentic and mouthwatering curry chicken, this place is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back for more! Highly recommend!

The food is good. The price is good. The only issue I have is that one of the lady have young girl at the register and that girl don’t have customers service, neither the mother. They both came in with attitude early in the morning. The daughter stay unpleasant, which is not good when you deal with customers. Customer service is everything.

This is the worse Jamaican restaurant I’ve ever had. The oxtails are extremely tough, my goodness. I paid $20 and it was a literal waste.

Caribbean Superior Restaurant is more than just a place to eat — it’s part of my routine, my comfort, and my culture. I’ve been coming here for over 5 years, and the food has never disappointed me.
Their breakfast is unmatched — whether it’s ackee and saltfish, callaloo, fried dumplings, or boiled food, everything is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. It’s the perfect way to start the day, especially when you’re craving a real taste of the Caribbean.
The staff is friendly, the service is consistent, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Whether I’m dining in or grabbing takeout, I always leave full and satisfied. If you’re looking for authentic Caribbean food with love in every bite, this is the place to be!
