The bb.q in our name stands for Best of the Best Quality, and that’s exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants. Our Korean fried chicken is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you’ve tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. It’s a tremendous amount of work, but it’s all worth it when you take that first bite.

The service at the store and the flavor and crispiness of the fried chicken are absolutely perfect. However, there is a very strange smell coming from the meat itself. It seems the same as when I visited about a year ago. I’m wondering if the chicken was not properly marinated, if there was an issue during storage, or if the chicken itself has that odor.
If it weren’t for that smell, I would honestly eat here every day. I’m sending this feedback because I truly want this restaurant to do well. Please, I hope you can fix the smell.

My husband likes boneless wings so we tried the secret sauce , the honey garlic, and the galbi. I had a high expectation of the place based on the pictures I’d seen and oh boy did they deliver. Each flavor was better than the other, and it was perfectly cooked, juicy and crispy; every second of waiting bc it’s made to order is worth it. All the servers were extremely kind and the restaurant was clean. The portions are generous, so if you are not a big eater you may share an 8 wings or half chicken and then take the opportunity to try some of their other dishes. I definitely want to go back to try more flavors and their fried rice. Top of the list for places to have fried chicken.

Great place for a quick bite. Hannah is awesome. Flavors are great. It would be nice to have the meals come at the same time.

Good fried chicken. The inside is nice and the place is kept clean. I didn’t really like the golden original or the secret sauce, but the other flavors were savory. The golden original is just a fried chicken with no seasoning, and the price is the same as the ones that have seasonings. Bummer that they don’t provide any pickled radish with the chicken.

The chicken is crispy and the sauces were delicious! We tried a small honey garlic and galbi and had leftovers to spare ☺️. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back!

Clean and modern inside. We got the honey garlic and spicy gasbi boneless. They were delicious, hot and fresh. It’s pricey but good. Sweet potato fries werent worth the $7.50 price tag in my opinion. I really wish they offered a combo meal or special on the weekends. Cheapest chicken is an 8pc for about $15-16 and that has now side or drink. I did feel like an 8 pc could be split between 2 people if you are slarving hungry. It was quite a bit of food. The honey garlic was my favorite!

Very very solid chicken. I came here because I found out that the boneless chicken wings are Halal. I tried out the Gangnam Style flavor and it was very delicious. They have tons of different options whether you like sweet salty or spicy wings. The owner and service was very nice and accommodating. The overall ambience of the restaurant was a vibe. Seems like the perfect place to go after a night out. will definitely be coming back!

Today is the 2nd time having Korean fried chicken here, the overall experience for the 1st and this time are both decent.

The key reason writing this review is that today we thought we ordered the Wing 8pcs in Spicy Galbi, and it came as Original Spicy. We double checked with the staff, and they confirmed that the order was original spicy. The staff immediately offered a new plate with correct flavor but we rejected, simply because we don’t think we can finish it (yes, you can take out lol). Around 5-ish mins, they still brought a 8pcs Wing in Spicy Galbi. Besides, they told us before seated that they are experiencing water shortage because a nearby water pipe was under repair, so you can decide whether you still wanna dine in or not. Then they offered 1 free drink per person if you decide to dine in. What an outstanding service!

The fried chicken…all we can say is that you won’t go wrong with any flavors basically! The chicken fried rice is flavorful but a bit salty to us.

The dinning environment is tidy. Even with the couch in black, you don’t see the grease. The table is clean as well.

Definitely is one of the nicest, authentic SK fried chicken in SLC!

fave chicken in town. get the boneless wings, trust. they’re big chunks of chicken thigh with flavorful sticky sauce, and they stay super crisp even left over.

I’m honestly shocked by the order I received tonight. I had the fried chicken here one other time and it was phenomenal. This time however, it was the complete exact opposite.

I ordered boneless and every piece I got was so dry and overcooked it was completely inedible. One piece was nothing but hard breading and burnt chicken jerky. Remember how I said I ordered boneless? Well there was one single bone in wing included for some reason and I nearly chipped a tooth biting into it. Even the breading, which was perfect the last time I ate here, seemed like it was fried at the wrong temperature and was much different than before.

I hate to leave such a poor review for a place I’ve previously had good experiences at, but this has got to be one of the worst meals I’ve ever paid for. I don’t know how the quality could’ve fallen off a cliff basically overnight, but I hope this is just a one time thing and not to be regularly expected from bb.q
