If you’re looking for a quick bite/ take out, this place is alright. Seriously, no where in Gastonia can compare to China Town in NYC, but it’s okay if you’re craving Chinese. Overall, the service is good and it seems to be clean. It’s not a place to sit and eat because the atmosphere is not that great, but they do have seating if you want to stay. It’s a family owned restaurant and I always prefer that over “Panda Express”, this is better than the franchises.

My spouse got me dinner tonight, sweet and sour chicken and side rice. I immediately upon opening it, could smell something wasn’t right. I took one bite, and near lost my stomach. How can you serve something so inedible to your customers? Do your cooks have no pride in what they do? I really wish I hadn’t taken that bite once I smelled the putrid smell coming from the containers. It tasted like they served me recooked leftovers, that had sat out all night and turned. Please, I love Chinese food. I love having options close to home. Yall really should take time to reevaluate your chefs and whoever is letting food leave the kitchen like this. This is not the first time I have gotten inedible food from here, but this was the worst time by far.

Great quick pickup. My food is always good. Staff is very friendly with a small local hometown vibe where they remember your name when you walk in. I feel like I get alot of food for the money compared to other restaurants.

Just moved to the area and am pleasantly surprised to find this place. The food is fresh and the steamed chicken is real chicken with a great mix of vegetables. The egg drop soup is fantastic and the wonton soup has great flavor and large dumplings. Everytime we have ordered everything is always ready quickly. I love the little rice containers they are so cute! And the rice is steamed to perfection. We tried the fried dumplings tonight and they did not disappoint

I ordered from this place last night my chicken didn’t taste good at all. I don’t know if the meat was bad or wasn’t chicken at all. I use to love this place a lot and for the past few months I haven’t said anything but this place has gone down hill. I always got the egg drop soup now it’s way too salty. I hope the owner hunter can get to the problem but last night was my last straw.

Got chicken and vegetables combo. The fried rice is very sticky and gummy. The chicken was cut up too small and tough. Used to be good. Past few times not so much. Has Hunter retired?

Got takeout from here the other day and was very pleased. Portion sizes are huge. I had the general chicken and it was good. Could have been a little bit spicier but next time I’ll ask for that. The egg roll was to die for. I will definitely be back.
