We stopped in from Ooltewah,Tn. With some family from Alabama today. They had been here before and loved it. My husband had the hamburger steak with grilled onions and gravy and kept talking about how tender it was. I ordered the fried shrimp and onion rings. We split an order of the cheese sticks. They were the size of big egg rolls and great!

This is a nice family-oriented, inexpensive restaurant! Purchased the large cheeseburger plates with onion rings & hamburger steak plate for my granny. Onion rings are so light and very tasty. Unfortunately I could not finish them all because the hamburger was huge! Very delicious as well. The waitress was very sweet and accommodating. For 3 people, a total of $34 spent… well pleased and I will be back!

Been coming here since I was a kid, had moved off and after 13 years living in Tennessee I decided to bring my kids here and enjoy it once again, get the hamburger steak, tots and okra, same thing I’ve always gotten here, my dad ordered the same and all three kids orders hamburgers, took over an hour to get our food, others that came in long after us got their food and when we finally got our food it was all ice cold, saw the waitress twice, maybe, had to beg for a refill on our drinks, wasn’t packed and the waitress was rude. This place let me down and it’s not the same. Sad

This place has good food and the service can be great but it can also be pretty bad. The two main servers attitudes are night and day. Really has a significant effect on your experience based on where you sit down. They get very busy around noon. Recommend getting there early if you are limited on time. They also have a great deal on the daily lunch special. Have yet to have anything that wasn’t good.

Our lunch bunch has been twice. First time was a 4.7, second time we barely rated it a 4. Service is fast and friendly. Food is good, but was different each time. I would recommend a burger.

Unfortunately just not what it used to be. This place needs help. This used to be the spot. Burgers are a safe bet but they taste frozen. Fries are good. I wouldn’t order anything else off the menu. The chicken was unseasoned and just bland. My biggest complaint is the audacity to upcharge $1.99 for “Mac and cheese” just to bring out boxed Mac and cheese. If you can’t take the time to make it homemade then take it off the menu. There’s at least 6 other options. Very disappointed. Our waiter was great.
