The food was absolutely amazing. We got gyoza, rainbow roll, fantastic roll and cold river roll.
The gyoza was nice and crispy and the accompanying sauce was a bit spicy, which I’ve not seen at other restaurants. Love love love the sauce that came with the gyoza.
The rolls tasted fresh and were fairly large. The yumyum sauce was also better than other places, but I cant quite describe why.
Our server was very attentive and nice.
From the outside, it looks like this place would be bigger on the inside. The inside has very little space. It looks/feels kinda dirty. There were quite a few gnats around my table. The booths are connected, so i felt every movement from the person sitting behind me. My tablets surface was not flat, and the table wasn’t level.
I’d come back for the food, but I wish the place were a bit more comfortable/clean. Really loved the food.

Got the steak hibachi dinners. The meat was way off in taste. Tasted gammy or something. Maybe it wasn’t steak? Idk funky we couldn’t eat it. Sushi was passable but not as fresh as other places.

Bad sushi swimming in sauce. Yellowtail was old and discolored. $75 and most went into the trash. Maybe the hot food is good but not the sushi. Place was empty too, so no excuse. Ruined our picnic by the river

Very busy this particular Friday night. Servers run the place with great service and fast attention. Food is decent and good. This is not a hibachi place where they cook in front of you.

A decent local little restaurant. A bit noisy and no clear signs when you come in saying whether to seat yourself or wait to be seated. Menu print could be a little larger.
That said… the waiter was friendly and the sushi rolls were definitely quality and well presented.

Had a great meal at Shogun in Marietta, Ohio! The food was delicious and the portions were really generous. Everything came out fresh and hot. The service was fantastic — super friendly and fast. I would come again and would recommend.

Tried to call them for 20 minutes spamming the button and no answer. Portions are small, service is horrible, and way overpriced. Food is very 50/50 sometimes good sometimes horrible. After this experience with the phone definitely not coming back.
