Doesn’t even deserve a star! Worst experience ever. Even if you’re starving, run away this place. We ordered a burger (mentioned in the picture which was $20 – worthless), dumpling and salad but the employee informed us that they didn’t have dumpling in the last minute. Then we had to ask for the spoons after we got the salad, which i guess is a basic thing in a restaurant. The salad was full of lettuce and little of other veggies. Don’t waste your time stopping here!

We are vegan and gluten free, and could find limited options for lunch in Dryden. I called this restaurant the day before we went and talked to the owner – he said he would take care of us. When we arrived his kitchen staff called and he made a special trip in to help us. He gave us several choices of vegan options he could make. We ended up with chana masala, rice, patras and papadoms. They also have Greek, Thai and North American food choices.

Well this was a treat and well worth the drive. We are from the Chicago area and are used to great food options, so this place was a little gem of a find. I overall am so impressed with Dryden as a whole. The people are SO NICE! We didn’t really know what to expect it was late probably close to 8:00 so the dinner rush at the buffet was over and they were winding down. But the food options were still all available and really good! They even made us fresh Naan! That sold me I will come back each time we come back!

I don’t usually love buffet Indian – but this place somehow manages to make everything feel fresh! I had a great lunch there 9 years ago and then tonight had another excellent meal! Hard to believe tiny little Dryden has such a gem.

This is my second time at Masala and it was just as good as the first time. Tonight I ordered takeout and had the butter chicken, rice, and naan as well as the aloo tikki. Everything was tasty, hot, and fresh. The people working there are very kind and the service was relatively quick.

What a great East Indian restaurant! The buffet has something for everyone. The Naan bread was great. Friendly service. Lots of parking. Not inexpensive but great value.
Update: made it back up to Dryden and had been looking forward to another great meal. Definitely wasn’t disappointed. Fantastic selection in the buffet. Our service was friendly and helpful. I even brought an extra buffet meal ‘to go’.

We recently visited Masala Restaurant and had a wonderful experience. We ordered Chicken Biryani, Shahi Paneer, and Garlic Naan, and everything was absolutely delicious.
• The Chicken Biryani was flavorful, well-spiced, and came with tender pieces of chicken—authentic taste that reminded us of home.
• The Shahi Paneer was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with spices. It paired so well with the naan.
• The Garlic Naan was soft, fresh, and full of flavor—probably one of the best we’ve had in a while.
The service was friendly, and the food was served hot and fresh. Portion sizes were generous, making it great value for money.
Definitely one of the best spots for Indian food—we’ll be coming back again soon!
