One of the better food finds in the area is this Japanese–Korean spot. Started with kushiyaki—juicy shrimp and scallop skewers brushed with rich butter sauce. The Sushi Tower was a showstopper: torched fish layered with crunchy bits, avocado, spicy tuna, sushi rice, spring mix, and fish eggs. The Salmon Hug lived up to its name—spicy tuna wrapped in torched salmon, finished with masago, green onions, and their house hot sauce. Rounded it all out with clean, fresh salmon sashimi. Worth a stop if you’re eating your way through the neighborhood.

The Best Sushi Spot!
Everything was exceptional, from tempura to sashimi and rolls—nothing fell short.
Dining at the large wooden table with the artwork on the walls made the experience even more enjoyable.
I especially recommend trying the Volcano Roll; it’s a must!
I think I’ll come back every time I visit Vancouver. Absolutely amazing!

All the dishes were fresh and so nice!
The tempura was perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the Volcano Roll was a standout.
The staff were very friendly, and the food was served quickly.
It’s the perfect spot to grab a meal after visiting Tsawwassen Mills.
If you’re visiting Vancouver, Canada, this sushi place is a must-try.
Highly recommended 🙂

We went to Tswassen Mills to see Santa at Cabellas…which BTW, is a hidden secret, great set up and free photo….

Afterwards we went to Kamome which is about a 2 min drive in the next complex over.

Lots of parking and a big place. The three of us, 3 adults and our 6 yo easily got a table. Service was attentive and good. The server felt we ordered too much food, but he never met my 6 yo either.

The best dishes were the sushi tower and the yam tempura. All the other rolls and items were good, nothing I’m going to rave about, but filled us up.

The food came fast and was fresh.

If you are in Tswassen and craving Japanese food, this place will give you what you want and a decent price point.

A nice place with dishes more on the light and healthier side than rich. I’ve been here twice. Great presentation and good service. Don’t really recommend the udon since it was too light for my tastes. I highly recommend the cheese and chicken spicy rice. Great spacious atmosphere.

EDIT: After eating here a few more times I have a few more faves. I really like the negitoro and gold crunch roll. The beef don is great too.

Found this hidden gem by chance while driving around Tsawwassen Mills. We were looking for something with rice and noodles, and this one came on the signboard. The menu is pretty good, covers all basic Japanese food you can find in Vancouver, and taste is great. I will say is a comfort food for Japanese food lovers. The highlight was sushi tower, with tuna, salmon, ebi, imitation crab meat, avocados with special sauce. Ambience is quiet and spacious, and the staff were amazing, attentive and polite. It was a good experience overall. Thank you Kamome staff!

Eclectic menu and chef very clearly trained in the fine art of Japanese cuisine. Interesting and flavorful rolls and offerings. Small, hole-in-the-wall place. Service was good, too. Ambience is tough in that location. Lots of take out. But food is consistently high quality and authentic. Quite enjoyable. Clean, as well, which is very important. Definitely will return. Enjoyable and satisfying.

Food is alright. Service is a bit slow even when the restaurant is not busy. Owner keep the door open for more than 10 minutes to move items even we told her it’s cold and asked her to close it. They didn’t care and just kept moving. Not a single apologize afterward. It’s 3 degree outside and we sat right beside the door with a group of seniors and children.

I was just strolling around the mall and decided to check out some nearby restaurants, I’m so happy I ended up here! The place feels cozy and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

I ordered the tempura, chicken karage seafood udon, and a crazy roll. Everything was honestly perfect. The tempura was super crispy (attempted to buy more) and dipping it in the soy sauce made it even better. The seafood udon had a nice sweet twist to the broth, and I asked them to make it spicy and it turned out absolutely perfect. The crazy roll was fresh and great too, I suggest to add creamcheese if you like creamcheese. I noticed it’s a mix of japanese and korean dishes, which is perfect.

Loved everything! Great atmosphere, great service, and delicious dishes. I’ll definitely be coming back when I’m craving sushi or korean food when I’m around the area! Highly recommend!
